U should've known more (Short Story)

Kari's POV~

We were driving for quite awhile now, but after a few more houses passing by David stopped the car, and when I looked up, i saw a house, the house looked normal

I thought about that, but david spoke and answered my question.

"Don't judge a book by its cover" is all he said.

Which has to mean 1. This is a game to him or 2. that this is actually not a normal house, but something much more once that door opens.

Just as i said that to myself, a door opened and out came a good looking man. Looking around 30 or so, having on causal clothes, nothing too suspicious or too fancy

I looked around and david said "come on."

He got out of the car and I did so too

I got out and went straight to that door, and waited for david to come along

After he did, we got inside and i was amazed on how nice the room looked like, nothing out of the ordinary.

The man at the door said "this way my lady" and pointed at this door, i was confused but went along, he unlocked the door and all you saw was pitch back

You can't see nothing what so ever

He turned on a switch and now you see stairs

Not creepy at all

I went downstairs making the bottom of my boots click, everyone knows I am here already, i got to the bottom of the stairs...and what i saw was mind blowing

There was a bar, a stage, and people around on a sofa

Not all cramped, now ladies and gentleman, the room was so huge you can add more things to that, I stepped back and someone grabbed by shoulders before I fell over.

I turned back and saw david, he smiled

"You like this..?? This is my buddy's place, trev" He said

I had big eyes, and just looked around, making sure this was not just a card board place, i was just stunned at how this was someone's house...this looked like a bar or something, just hidden behide a closed door..

I look up and i see eye to eye with a stage and a pole, i think this is where I will be for tonight.

Someone spoke and i recognized the person as trev "you like? I even polished and decorated the stage just for you" He said

I think he meant the lights and stickers everywhere, i just nodded at his question not sure on what to say

"May i?" I looked at the pole

"You may" He said

I got up on stage and started to jump seeing if this was stable enough, i put my hands on the pole and jumped onto the pole, and slide down

The pole did not move, so I ran in circles while holding the pole, and no movements, i smiled at that and got down

I went to go grab a drink

Someone handed me a drink, i noticed the bottle as a shotglass

"I don't drink alcohol beverages" i said to the man, he shrugged and drank

I turned around and ordered a sprite soda, the person behide the counter gave me my drink

I looked down, and saw that I looked like i was drinking water, i laughed at that

Do i look healthy??

I probably do, oh yaa!

After finishing my cup i just waited for some one to tell me what to do.
