So for the people who have read the last update/message, I have decided that I would try to write some more of this fan fiction and then maybe even possibly start a new RobinxMaria fan fiction as well. Who knows at this point? I will for sure be trying to add on to this mess of a story but I'm going to try and make it have more substance and character development then the previous chapters. Hope you guys enjoy it, I present to you CHAPTER 7!

After that unfortunate encounter with Robin, I decided that I needed to make it a top priority to get out of this leg chain first. If he thought that some lousy rope around my leg was going to stop me from getting out of here, then he was just plain dumb. I quickly dried the tears that were left on my cheeks and I looked around for anything that I could use to cut the rope. I didn't see anything and at this point I was about ready to start gnawing on the rope with my teeth like a barbarian. I decided against that since my mouth already ached from where Robin hit me earlier and thought that it might be a good idea to swing my head down and look under the bed. With the position the rope had me in it was hard to turn my body on its side but I gritted my teeth through the pain and yanked my leg as far as it could go in the circumstances and then swung my head under the bed. Immediately I could feel blood rushing to my head and and an uncomfortable pounding started. I stuck my hand under the bed and thrashed it around wildly feeling for something, anything to grab on to. Then I felt it. Something flat and sharp on the edge. Like a piece of a broken glass bottle or something. I grabbed it slicing my hand in the process and yanked it back up hissing at the ever growing pain in my hand. I lugged my body back on top of the bed and winced as I squeezed my hand to stem the bleeding. The cut wasn't too deep. But deep enough to cause an infection. I ripped the hem off of one of the legs of my pants and wrapped it tightly around my palm tying it into a knot.

I quickly grabbed the piece of glass again, being careful not to cut myself this time, and started sawing at the rope. The rope wasn't particularly thick, but it was strong and I found myself tiring after minutes of sawing. Thankfully I was nearing the end and only had a few more strands to cut through. As I cut the last strand, the rope snapped back onto the floor and I swung my legs back together and onto the ground. As soon as I stood up I faltered and fell back onto the bed for support. I needed more circulation in my leg before I could walk. I quickly pointed it towards the floor and working quickly I massaged my foot. In no time I could feel the blood start returning to my leg and I quickly stood up and sauntered towards the door. I tried the handle and was surprised to find that it was unlocked. I quietly slipped out of the door and shut it behind me. I stood in the hallway and weighed my options. Should I go left or right to look for Carter? I decided to go left since the right seemed longer and I tiptoed down the hall being careful not to make a single sound. As I walked down the hallway I saw two doors. There was no light coming from under either door so I went to open the left one but stopped when a light suddenly came out from through the crack. I held my breath as my heart started to pound heavily and I drew my hand up to my mouth slowly to cover my labored breathing. Soon enough I heard muffled voices from inside.

Something like "the girl" and "she is". I assumed that they were talking about me. I decided that I had heard enough and that I should probably get out of the open hallway before someone found me. I stared to walk forwards down the hallway when I stepped on a squeaky board that made a loud sound.

"Shit" I whispered to myself as I heard footsteps come towards the door. I quietly ran towards the end of the hallway and disappeared down the other end before anyone could see me. I heard the door open and light flooded the hallway just were I had been standing seconds before.

"Alex there's nothing here you dipshit."

"I could've sworn I heard the floor boards creak." I heard a meek voice reply.

"It's just the house settling you idiot." I heard a muffled "whatever" as the door was shut and I breathed a sigh of relief. Now to find my way out of here. I scampered down the hallway being careful to stay in the shadows. I wondered how long I had been here. I couldn't have been gone for more than a day could I? I quickly brushed my thoughts aside focusing on the thing that mattered most, getting out of here. I continued walking down the hallway until I made it to a stairway. It was a metal spiral and I could heard voices downstairs even though I couldn't see any lights.

"So what are you planning to do with her anyway?" The voice sound suspiciously similar to Carter's and I moved closer to the railing to hear better.

"Nothing really, I just need to scare her into submission so she will show me where the you know what are." I heard the nasal voice of Robin sneer back.

"Ah, so it's just a matter of chasing the prey before you eat it so to speak?" The Carter voice replied back.

"Quite the opposite actually."

"Oh. Well I can go now right? All you needed was her to believe that there was someone on her side right?"

"Precisely. You can leave." I was dumbstruck. Then I got mad. That good for nothing scumbag. Ugh, I wanted to scream! How could he do that, him of all people I wanted to punch him in the face and kick him in the balls and then....

"Princess you can come down now." I froze. My blood turned to ice in my veins.

"There's no sense in hiding. I'll always find you." I was caught. Damn it. I walked into the light and slowly descended down the swirling staircase, dragging my hand on the railing and shuddering with each step. When I made it to the final stair I quickly stepped off, concealing the glass shard in my fist. I watched Robin grin like a cheshire cat as he slowly stalked towards me, like an animal going for its prey. He slowly reached his hand towards my face and I winced as he caressed my cheek slowly. I was revolted by the fact that his hand was touching me like that.

"Such a pretty face, shouldn't have lashed out at me and I wouldn't have had to damage it." I trembled as his hand made its way onto my neck and then my shoulder.

I gritted my teeth and shut my eyes.

"Oo someone's getting tense." Robin chuckled and shuffled closer to me. He came right up towards my ear.

"You can't tell me you don't like it." he mumbled and I jerked backwards hitting my head on the metal railing. I winced in pain and hissed as I felt the pain ignite in the back of my head. Robin smirked but I thought I saw a hint of something else in his eyes. In a split second his wall was back up again but I knew. I had seen another part of him.

"Ooh baby that's gonna hurt." he mocked stalking closer to me again. I backed away farther holding out my hand for him to stop but he kept coming closer and closer until I could smell the forest on him and the scent of musk lingering on his collar. He had backed me into a wall and he placed his hand ever so gently on the wall beside me and looked into my eyes. His eyes were a beautiful shade of green. But they were cold. Very cold. And sharp. It felt like he was prying into my soul and I looked down at my feet. His rough hand came up and lifted my chin up. But I refused to look back into his eyes so I closed mine. I heard him scoff.

"Princess, open your eyes." His voice was steady and demanding and I cowered in his hold, still squinching my closed.

"I said, open your eyes." He said calmly but dominantly. I didn't move a muscle. He suddenly grabbed me and shook me violently and I lashed out with the glass shard that I had been hiding and sliced the top of his hand deeply. He cursed, dropping me and grabbing at his hand. I took the chance I had been waiting for and ran.
