Hey guys! I'm sorry for the long wait, thanks so much for sticking around! Also, WE'RE ALMOST AT 3K!?! You guys are so awesome! School gets out for me on the 24 (of May) so I'm going to be able to update way more frequently as soon as it's summer break.

Here's CHAPTER 12!

Robin rolled off the bed and then made his way to the vanity in the corner of the room.

"Pick something princess, we don't have all day."

"I seriously don't think there is any thing in here that I can actually wear. You wouldn't catch me dead in any of those dresses." I said stubbornly crossing my arms over my chest. Robin rolled his eyes.

"Why do you have to be so dramatic." He muttered. "Fine, I'm sure I have some pants you can wear in my room. I'll be right back." He ducked his head down to fit through the doorway and then hesitated, and turned back to face me.

"Don't go anywhere okay?"

I smirked in response. Robin gave me a sarcastic smile and then went through the doorway shutting the door behind him. Now that I was finally alone I let out a deep breath of relief. He made me feel weird. Sort of giddy, like a fourth grader with a new crush.

Stop that. I thought to myself. You do not like him. I argued back and forth in my head.

You had a thing going back there, he was going to kiss you and you ruined it.

He was not. I bickered back, ignoring the tell-tale signs.

If he had wanted to kiss me he would have, and he didn't.

The voice went silent and I huffed. There was no way that The Robin De Noir, leader of a gang that very probably did drugs and such, wanted to kiss me. That just didn't happen. Not in this world. And definitely not in my world. My train of thoughts was interrupted by the door banging open and a gruff looking Robin walking through with a bag. He tossed the bag aggressively onto the bed.

"Get changed." He demanded and shut the door behind him.

"Who peed in your cheerios?" I muttered to myself while grabbing the bag. I rummaged through the mess of dark clothes and pulled out some black cargo jeans and a black long sleeve shirt. Tugging the pants up my legs I was surprised that they fit. Then I hastily slipped the shirt on and the boots that I was wearing earlier, and made my way towards the door. I opened it up and my eyes met an impatient Robin who was leaning against the wall. He looked up when I came through the door and his eyes swept my figure. I swatted his arm.

"Stop that." I protested. He chuckled.

"On second thought, I think I like you better in that." He confessed pushing off the wall and heading down the stairs. "It makes you look more badass." I blushed scurrying down the stairs.

"Where are you going?" I questioned, skipping down the stairs two at a time trying to catch up.

"We have a meeting to attend."

"We?" I interrupted.

"Last time I checked there were two of us." Sarcasm heavily coated his words and I shot him a look. "Do you think I'm going to leave you alone again? Especially after the trouble you caused me last time? Not a chance." He scoffed.

"That's not even fair! You tied me to a bed!" I clarified.

"What can I say? You like it kinky. "

I gave him the death glare.

"Either way it's not up for discussion. Now walk faster, we're going to be late." He stated, dashing down the corridor. I groaned, running after him. After running through the halls and going down a few flights of stairs we made it to a door that was guarded by a burley, rough looking man. He shot me a look of distaste, but stepped aside to let us through. As we entered the room, I felt the eyes of everyone on me. I followed Robin as he slid into a chair and I quickly slid into one next to him. I was confused at the circle of chairs around the room and my immediate thought was, 'oh god I just entered a cult'.

"Robin, so glad you could finally join us." A loud voice boomed from in front of the fireplace. The room was pitch black except for the raging fireplace behind the speaker, and I squinted trying to make out his face in the shadows.

"And you brought Maria, how nice." Now, I was really confused. "As I was saying, we need to get rid of the Crown. For too fucking long we have shared the valley with them and I'm done. They keep breaking the rules and you know what we do to those who break the rules."

Next to me Robin scoffed and shook his head. I turned and studied his face, his eyebrows were furrowed and his mouth was pursued ever so slightly. He caught me staring and I turned away, picking at a loose hem on the inside of my sleeve. My cheeks burned in embarrassment, and I felt his eyes burning holes into the back of my head. I refused to turn around.

"Damion has been watching the boarders and he's been seeing suspicious vans entering and exiting their territory. We need to fucking figure out what's going on because nobody messes with the De Noirs." A chorus of approvals and cheers followed. The men started standing up and Robin made his way over to the speaker with me in tow.

"Father" Robin greeted.

"Robin" He nodded back.

"Father, this is Maria. And Maria this is my father, Coeur De Noir." I nodded at him. He was a large man, with a burly, black beard. He wore leather, just like everyone else in the De Noir clan.

"I hate to skip the causalities dear, but I have a job for you." I looked over at Robin in confusion. "We need an insider, a spy so to say." He had a sinister grin on his face and I knew this wasn't going to go well. "You see, anyone from the Crown will recognize a regular member of the De Noirs, but you, they don't even know you exist. No man in the Crown will be able to resist your pretty little face. Add just a bit of alcohol and we'll know all the secrets." I gulped and looked over at Robin for help.

"Father, I don't wan...." Robin stammered but Coeur De Noir cut him off.

"She'll be fine Robin, we won't let anything happen to your little princess." He chuckled with a tone of deviousness. "I promise she'll return in one piece. She goes in undercover tomorrow." He sashayed away with a smirk and went to talk to another man. They whispered together, looking back at me and smirking.

"Robin, I don't want this." I stuttered. "I don't, I can't, I'm not like you!"

"Maria, calm down I don't want this either but you don't really have a choic..."

"Oh bullshit I didn't ask to be part of this." I hissed at Robin pulling him away from the crowd. "You can't expect me to agree with this." Suddenly Robin tensed up and grabbed my shoulders, violently.

"Look, I can't always play nice, you're going to do what my father tells you to do and you're not going to ask questions about it. He's in charge, respect that."

His voice was laced with anger and I didn't understand how he could change his facade so quickly. He mumbled something under his breath and stormed away leaving me alone in the corner. I stumbled my way through the room and I fumbled with the door knob until it opened. Not closing it behind me I ran.
