"I can't believe you got us tickets to this social!" Squealed your younger sister Emily. "It was sold out months ago!"
It was your younger sister Emily's birthday last week, and taking her to this social was her birthday present from you. It was in downtown Toronto, and it was said to be the hottest social of the year.
Normally you weren't a party person, but your sister really wanted to go, and being the good older sister you were, you took her.
The two of you sang along to the radio while you drove there.
Emily squealed in excitement as you pulled up to park. "Lets get our party on!!" she said excitedly, hopping out of the car. you follow her in and show the people at the door your tickets so they can stamp you, and then you walk in.
There are people everywhere you look, but you don't really recognize anyone.
"I'm going to go talk to my friend Rosalyn," Emily tells you as she walks toward a girl she must've already known from somewhere.
You decide to go to the bar to get a drink instead of standing by yourself looking like a loser. You order a shot of vodka and you're about to drink it when a cute guy stops you.
"Wait, mind if I join you?" he asks.
"Go right ahead," you tell him smiling. he looked so familiar, but you couldn't think of where you've seen him before.
"Okay I'm ready. what should we drink to?" he asks.
"To the leafs winning the cup this year!" you exclaim, and the two of you throw the shots back.
"I'm y/n, by the way" you introduce yourself.
"I'm Tyler. Tyler Bozak." he sticks out a hand for you to shake.
You couldn't believe that you'd just taken a shot with Tyler Bozak! he'd been your favourite hockey player ever since he came onto the leafs, and you'd loved the leafs ever since you were a little girl.
"Nice to meet you! not to be all fan girly but you're a great player." you tell him, hoping he doesn't think you're a puck slut.
"Thanks, it's nice that you appreciate my playing, not my money," he says as he laughs.
The two of you dance the night away, heading to the bar for shots every once in a while. You grind on him, and the night ends in an intense make out session.

You wake up the next day with a text on your phone from an unknown number. you open it confused and see its pictures of you and Tyler from the social. the text said "had so much fun last night! hope to see you again. Tyler xo"
This was going to be something great.
