"Matt Stop!!" you shreiked, running away from your boyfriend who was spraying you with the garden hose. The two of you were laughing and having a great time, until you fell and felt an awful pain in your ankle.
"Ow! My ankle!" you cried, trying not to let tears fall from your eyes.
"Y/N!" Matt yelled, running to your aid. "What happened baby?" he asked worriedly.
You explained everything to him and he scooped you up in his arms, taking you to the car.
The two of you sped to the hospital where you got xrayed and the doctor said it was a hairline fracture. "Great. Now I won't be able to do anything for like a month!" you complained after the doctor finished putting the cast on.
"Well I'll be here to help as much as I can," Matt said comfortingly.
"Aw, my hero," you swooned.
He took you back to your house and tucked you in on the couch, and snuggled up with you to watch your favourite movie, bridesmaids. It always made you laugh and he knew it would bring your spirits up.
"How did I get so lucky to get you?" you asked, looking into Matt's beautiful eyes.
"I think I should be asking that," he smiled, leaning in for a kiss.
