Taylor's POV

I wake up in VIck's arms, I also stare at him for a while to see if this is real. I come to a conclusion it is real, and I am not imagining this.

I sigh and rest my head in my hands, I let him through I can't believe I let him through. There's a reason people have a wall, and my wall protects me from stupid things; such as love.  That's just one, I have many others.

I stretch a little and realize my back no longer hurts it's a little stiff but other than that, I am OK maybe l am a little grateful that he gave me the medicine but he still didn't listen.

I get up and grab my trident making my way outside, there are five of us left if I kill either Lester or the girl from four then things will move faster and if things move faster then I can die faster.

I want these games to be over, now. I start my hike through the woods, today it isn't that cold which makes me wonder what's going on I don't have time for that though.

I check the trees and see no one then I make my way down to this valley and see the girl from district four she is collecting some type of flowers so slowly I sneak up behind her I tap her shoulder, when she turns around she barely has time to scream before I shove my trident through her stomach I pull it out just as the cannon sounds then I run off.

I hate how I mindlessly killed her, I hate how I watched the light leave her eyes and I hate how much of a monster  I have become. It had to be done, it just had to.

I reach the cave and Vick is awake looking very concerned, also...pissed. I did he it this time, "Where were you?" He asks, I sit down beside him and shrug. "There are three of us now, we should leave now I want this over," I say shoving stuff into a backpack, he grabs my hand stopping me. "Did you kill someone?" He asks, sitting up I nod. "I did what I had to do, come on," I say walking out he follows after me, from just a few seconds of being out there it has now started snowing, I shiver.

Vick gives me his jacket and I put it on, I turn to him. "It has to be ending soon, it hasn't snowed not once since we got here," I tell him, he frowns. "If it's ending something big would've happened by now...maybe we need to find Keen,"  He suggests, I turn to him. "That's stupid, what if he's waiting for us," I say, he shrugs. "I highly doubt your boyfriend would be waiting for you," He says passively, I sigh. "He's not my boyfriend!" I shout frustrated, he smirks. "Then who is?" He asks, I groan. "You! Now shut up!" A smile cracks across his face and I realize what I just said and I groan.

"I didn't..um.." I trail off he laughs, "It's OK, honest," I sigh, "We seriously need to get going, come on" I say my cheeks lighting up red as I turn away. "OK, look I'm sorry I tricked you,"  Vick says, I roll my eyes. "No hard feelings, now should we search the woods or go to the cornucopia?" I ask, he shrugs. "The most reasonable thing to do right now is search the woods, going to the cornucopia  would mean being trapped it would be OK if we had more people but there is no telling if Keen and Lester has teamed up, but on the other hand Keen hasn't showed up so we don't know what kind of condition he is in," Vick says, I nod.

"Let's go then," We both walk in silence as listen to the river flow and and the snow fall constantly. I smile at the snow that falls on my nose, which causes me to sneeze. Vick laughs, "That's adorable," Vick coos, I turn to Vick and shove him, "Shut up," I say, he laughs and gets up off the ground and shoves me, I slip and almost fall except he catches me.

"Lesson learned?" He asks, I shake my head. "Never,"  I breath out making a cloud of air, he smiles suddenly a twig snaps and we both look to the woods and see red eyes dtaring back at us.
