Allora Stettin was born on May 5th. She has blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair. She doesn't know who her parents are.
Sahara Leveska ( the owner of the orphanage ) told her that her parents died in a car accident when she was only two, and that was why she had come to the orphanage.
Sahara is a wonderful woman and treats all of the orphans as if they were her own children. Surrounding the orphanage was a forest of trees where the children could play and have fun.
Allora was one of the youngest of the orphans, so she liked to walk through the thick lush, woods just to be alone, because some of the older children liked to pick on her. She didn't really talk to anyone.
One day, she went for a walk in the woods just to be alone. She could hear her footseps crunching on the fallen pine needles. Allora listened to the relaxing sounds of the forest around her, birds chirping, leaves rustling, and the faint hoot of an owl high in the trees.
Sometimes Allora spent hours just listening to these sounds, getting away from all the stress from her hectic life.
"I know it's hard here for you young Allora," Sahara had said to her one day,"but one day you'll be adopted into a wonderful family, and I just know you'll be happy." Sahara had been like a mother to Allora since as long as she could remember. The very thought of her made Allora smile.
As she was walking, something from the corner of her eye interrupted her thoughts.
I must be imagining things, she thought.
But she still felt that something or someone was watching her. She tried to ignore the feeling, but it wouldn't go away. She stopped in the middle of a small clearing and looked around.Suddenly the big forest wasn't as relaxing as before. The trees looked darker, and it seemed more quiet and eerie then it had been before.
She heard a twig snap and what she thought was someone gasp. The next thing she knew, there was an arrow pointed at her a few inches from her face.
She was felt like she was staring death in the eye, but she was really staring into the eyes of a young girl, her face was shadowed so Allora couldn't tell what she looked like.
"You're not supposed to be here." The girl said, but Allora could tell she was trying to make her voice more intimating."Get out of here now, or you'll have an arrow through your head before you can say mercy. " The girl growled.
" I-I didn't know that y-you lived here. I always walk in here. " stammered Allora.
The girl then slightly lowered the bow and arrow.
"It doesn't matter how much you walk in the forest. Pan doesn't like anyone in his woods. Now get out!" The girl demanded. She raised her bow again.
"P-please wait!" Allora pleaded," I'll leave right now!"
The girl lowered her bow. "What's your name girl?" She asked
"My name's Allora."
"Aria." The other girl said. She held out her hand.
Allora politely took it. "But you really should leave." Aria said, in a softer voice then before. " Pan doesn't like anyone here."
"I'm leaving," Allora repeated," It was nice to meet you, Aria."
I wonder who Pan is, he must be an imaginary friend of some kind, Allora thought as she made her way back to the orphanage.
Aria watched as Allora walked towards what she called her home. Aria had to admit she envyed her a bit, getting to go home to a loving family.
Aria had a feeling that there was something different about Allora, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
She decided to return to what she called her home. She shouldn't have been so rude to Allora, and decided that she would make it up if she ever saw her again, and Aria had a feeling she would see the strawberry haired girl again soon.
