After Allora and Aria were settled at Camp Jupiter, both girls were just getting to know all of the other children that lived there. One night, Allora thought that she heard someone talking outside of the cabin and decided to go outside to see what was going on.
When she opened the door, there was a couple of kids who were not where they were supposed to be. As soon as she opened the door, the kids ran back to their cabins. Allora sighed and closed the door.
Allora was surprised that they rarely saw the leader of the camp. One of the other kids told her that the leader spends a lot of time in her office and only comes out for meetings and special occasions.
" Hey Aria, did you know that the leader only appears for meetings and special occasions? Olive told me that yesterday." Said Allora. Aria answered and said; " I thought something strange was going on. I think that the leader is a monster. But I could be wrong."
Allora just shrugged her shoulders and went back to what she was supposed to be doing. Later, during free time, they walked through the streets of the and talked.
The next day, every one was doing their training, when suddenly there was a flash of light followed by kids running and shouting. Buildings were falling down all over the camp. When Allora and Aria came out of their cabin, Allora saw monsters everywhere!
A few minutes later, the leader of the camp appeared. But she didn't look like the young woman who ran the camp. She was really a dracaena! She joined the rest of the monsters who were attacking the other children.
The battle took place all over the camp and buildings collapsed everywhere. Allora then grabbed her sword and motioned for Aria to come with her. They left their cabin and started fighting the monsters.
A lot of the children died and others were severely injured. " Aria, we have to get these kids out of here now. I am going to send Chiron a message and let him know that everyone is coming to Camp Half Blood. While I do that, can you help me get them ready to leave camp? " Asked Allora.
" Sure. Let me know when you get done. I will see what I can do . Said Aria. Allora sent Chiron a message and told him what happened and he said he would send people to help. Allora told him thank you.
When the kids from Camp Half-Blood came, they helped move the injured kids to the infirmary at Camp Half-Blood. Both Allora and Aria were injured in the attack, but their injuries were not as severe as some of the other children.
Later that night, Allora and Aria were talking about the attack, when Aria said; " I knew something strange was going on when the leader was acting weird. I figured that she was a monster, but I didn't think it was true until the monsters started attacking. "
