Allora Stettin : The Orphan Demigod (COMPLETED)

Chapter #2 Possible Adoption

When Allora returned to the orphanage, she went straight to her  room and wrote in a diary that she kept by her bed. She heard a knock on the door and looked up.

It was her best friend Ella. " It's time for dinner. " She said.

Allora stood up and stretched. "Thanks." She yawned

After dinner, she was called to Sahara's office. When she got there, Sahara asked Allora how her day was. Allora told her about her walk in the woods and meeting Aria. Allora then asked Sahara if she knows anything about a person named Pan and Sahara told Allora what she knew about the Greek gods and goddesses.

While they were talking, there was a knock at the door and when Sahara answered the door, there was a young couple who were looking for a child to adopt.  Sahara asked Allora to go and round up the other children because they had company .

So she went and did what she was told. The children all gathered in the living room and waited for Sahara and the young couple to come in.  When they got there, the young couple looked around at all of the children and then their eyes landed on Allora.

The young woman came to Allora and asked her what her name was and how old she was. Allora told her what her name and age was and then the woman turned to the young man and said that she wanted to adopt Allora, because she was the right age.

They talked for a minute and then went back to Sahara's office to fill out the paperwork. Allora ran to her room and gathered the things that she had and then she cried because she finally found a new home that would love her. She was also sad because she  didn't know if she would get to see Aria again.

Speaking of Aria, Allora thought that she should tell Aria that she was getting adopted today. So, she left her bag by the door and looked to make sure that the couple were still in the office.

When she got to the place where she first saw Aria, she called Aria's name. A few minutes later Allora found her. Aria was making something on the ground. Allora asked; What are you  making?" " Pan is sending me away to some kind of camp."Said Aria.

Allora then told Aria that she was leaving the orphanage and Aria  asked why. Allora then explained that she was getting adopted by a good young couple.

Aria seemed really surprised.  Allora described what the people looked like and when she finished, Aria said that Pan told her about this couple and that they were children of the gods and goddesses.

Allora asked" Do you think it is a coincidence that they have come?"  She wondered if they were going to take her to the camp that Aria was going to. If so, they would get to see each other again. 

Allora then said; " I have to return to the orphanage, because they are probably looking for me. I hope we will see each other again. "

When Allora returned to the orphanage, the young man and woman were waiting for her on the steps. They had her bag that came with her. She hoped that they had grabbed her diary.

The man introduced himself as Percy Jackson and the woman's name was Annabeth Chase.  Percy handed Allora her bag and she looked to make sure that her diary was there and it was.

In the car, Allora asked if they were children of the gods and goddesses and they told her that they are. Allora told them about her friend Aria and about her being raised by Pan. She told them  what Aria had told her.

Percy and Annabeth decided to go straight to their demigod camp. They said they needed to talk to someone called Chiron. When they arrived at the camp, Allora was surprised to see lots of children about her age and younger.

Annabeth and Percy took her straight to a big Victorian style house where they were greeted by a centaur. Allora was so nervous that vines started to grow around her feet. No one seemed to notice.  A few minutes later, a satyr came running up to the house. His name was Grover.

" What is it Grover? " Asked Chiron.  Grover answered and said; " A demigod just came through the border. "  Chiron followed Grover up to Half-Blood hill. Standing there was a young girl that Allora recognized.

" Aria? How did you get here? " Allora asked.  When Aria heard Allora's voice, she whipped her head around and smiled when she saw Allora. 

Chiron asked how they knew each other and Allora told him that they had met when she lived at the orphanage. Allora was so excited to see Aria that vines grew around her and flowers popped up every where.
