Allora was very excited because she will get to decide if she wants to become a goddess. Aria too had the same decision to make.
They both were not sure if they wanted to be goddesses, because then Leon and Michael would have to become gods.
In a few days there was going to be a celebration at camp for those who were between the ages of sixteen to eighteen. Allora, Aria, Michael, Leon and Whitney were sixteen and seventeen.
Allora was very excited because later in the week, there was going to be a ball. It was a celebration for those who came of age to decide if they wanted to be gods or goddesses.
Aria was nervous because if she became a goddess, then Leon would have to be a god because of the connection between them.
At breakfast, Chiron made the announcement. "This week, there is going to be a ball. You have four days to prepare and decide if you are going to become a god or goddess. I hope that you will make a wise decicion."
Later that day
Allora had just finished one of her classes and was heading back to her cabin, when Aria came up to her and said; "Hey Allora, have you decided what you are going to do? I haven't. Anyway, see you later. I have a date with Leon tonight."
Allora said; "No, I have not decided yet. I'm not sure if I want to leave camp yet. See you later."
She then went to her cabin to decide what to wear for the ball. Maybe I will askone of the Aphrodite girls to help me. She thought as she reached her cabin.
Meanwhile, Michael was having trouble deciding what to do. He knew that he was in love with Allora, but didn't know how to tell her. One of the other boys told him to give Allora flowers.
The day finally arrived for the ball and Allora went to the Aphrodite cabin for help with her dress. She couldn't decide what her dress should look like.
She finally decided that her dress would have roses all over the dress and baby roses in her hair. It took her three hours to get ready, but when she was done, she looked really beautiful.

Aria also asked the Aphrodite girls to help with her dress. She decided to have a white dress with snowflakes.

At the ball, everyone danced and then Chiron asked those who were between the ages of sixteen and eighteen if they decided if they wanted to be gods or goddesses, and Allora, Michael, Whitney, and Leon all said that they did not want to become immortal at this time.
After the ball, everything went back to normal and it was almost time for some of the campers to leave for the school year.
Allora decided to continue to go to Camp Jupiter for school and Aria stayed at Camp Half-Blood to teach kids how to climb trees.
