One day, Allora and Hannah were helping some farmers in their fields, when Allora suddenly felt a sharp pain in the middle of her back. Hannah asked; "Allora, what's the matter?" Allora answered and said; "I don't know. My back hurts really bad. Can you look at it?"
So Hannah looked at Allora's back and gasped. In the middle of Allora's back was a willow tree tatoo that was starting to form. Allora looked at Hannah's back, and she had a picture of a red dragon starting to form in the middle of her back. Hannah also said that her back was hurting.
Later that day, the two girls decided not to tell the others about the tatoos on their backs, because Allora thought that if she told Aria, Aria might freak out. Allora also looked at her right arm and saw that a vine tatoo started growing from her wrist and going up her arm to her elbow and wrapping around her elbow. That one didn't hurt, but the one on her back hurt.
Finally when the pain stopped, Allora had a full willow tree in the middle if her back, and an apple tree tatoo was starting to grow on her left side, wrapping around her ribs. The apple tree had golden apples on it. The apple tree didn't hurt as much as the willow tre, because it was smaller.
Hannah had smaller animal tatoos on her arms and neck. They were the smaller animals that she could shapeshift into.
Aria also had tattoos, but hers were icebergs and icicles. The icebergs were on her back, and the icicles were on her wrists and she had a snowflake on her left cheek. Leon had blue flames on his left arm. Because of the bomd between him and Aria.
