After breakfast Chiron anounced that today there are going to be visitors from the other demigod camp and Allora is very excited. Aria is very nervous.
Soon after, Allora noticed the light snow falling from the sky."Aria! Stop, your making it snow." Allora said.
"I'm sorry, I can't control it!" Aria exlamed.
Chiron cancelled classes because of the visitors that are coming. Right now, all of the children are playing in the blanket of snow. Some of them are making snow forts.
While Aria and Allora are working on a snow fort, they talked about their parents and that it was kind of weird to have snow in camp, because the weather isn't supposed to change.
Allora looked around and saw some of the other kids being chased by Chiron who was throwing snowballs and shooting at them with arrows covered in snow. "At least it looks like Chiron doesn't mind the snow. He's having fun chasing people." Allora said to Aria.
Then both girls laughed as they watched the other kids being chased by Chiron.
They both looked up when they heard someone shouting and saw a bunch of kids in Roman armor run down the hill and joined the other children who were making snowmen and other things.
A very shy young girl about Allora and Aria's age walked over to the girls and asked if she could play with them.
They said yes and she helped them with their fort. While they worked, she introduced herself and said; " My name is Lorette Hollowhead." The girls asked her if she knew who her parents were, and she said; " My mother is Nemesis and my father is Mars. That makes me half Greek, half Roman."
She turned to Allora and asked; " Do you know who your parents are?" and Allora told Lorette; " My mother is Athena and my father is Orcus, God of Eternal Punishment." Allora then showed Lorette the symbols on her wrist.
They both turned to Aria and waited for her to tell who her parents were. Allora could tell that Aria was nervous, because it started to lightly snow.
"Aria, stop. You're making it snow again!" Allora said. She then told Lorette that Aria's mom was Khione the ice queen and her father was mortal.
Aria thought that if Lorette knew who her mother was, that Lorette wouldn't want to be her friend. But Lorette was totally cool with it.
At dinner, the Roman kids got to sit wherever they wanted, so Lorette sat with Aria and Allora. They talked and joked around and had a great time.
Chiron got up and announced that the Roman kids could sleep in any of the cabins that they wanted. The girls asked Lorette if she wanted to sleep in their cabin( actually Allora sleeps in the Athena cabin) and she said yes.
When they finished dinner, they showed Lorette around and told her which cabins they slept in.
She decided to sleep in the Athena cabin and Aria asked Annabeth if she could be in there too, and Annabeth said that it was okay. All three of them were very excited.
The next day, most of the snow had gone away, so they went back to their classes and the Roman kids did their training. Some of them joined the group, and the girls showed them some of their battle moves and learned some Roman fighting skills.
After training, they had free time. So Allora showed Lorette her powers and made a tree grow by her feet. Lorette was surprised and then showed Allora what she could do.
They had a lot of fun and ended up chasing each other around the lake, then went back to the cabin exhausted. Allora found out that Lorette is going to be staying at Camp Half-Blood for a couple weeks.
"What are you going to do during the school year Allora?" Lorette asked. Allora answered and said; "I'm not sure yet. I am going to ask Chiron if it is safe to go back to the orphanage to visit my friend Ella."
Lorette didn't know that Allora lived at an orphanage, so they sat down and Allora told Lorette her story. She was surprised. Lorette then told Allora her story about how she got to be at Camp Jupiter.
While they talked, some of the other children were getting ready to leave camp for the school year. Allora lives at camp all year around because she doesn't have any where else to go.
