Allora Stettin : The Orphan Demigod (COMPLETED)

Chapter # 19 Aria goes to Paris

After Allora left for California, Aria was getting ready to leave for Paris.  She wasn't very excited because she had been hoping that Allora would have been with her. 

She left camp two weeks after Allora, and now she was on a boat on her way to the biggest monster infested country in the world. Or so she thought.

She would be stopping at Camp Jupiter to meet up with the kids that would be going with her.  However, she was very happy that Leon was going too. 

Leon and her have been growing closer together because of the connection between them.  She was very happy to have him by her side.

When the boat docked, Aria and Leon walked to Camp Jupiter and met up there with the kids that were to join them on their quest. 

Two of the other kids are twins, brother and sister.  Their names are James and Amanda.  They are children of Apollo. They loved to draw. 

And then there was a girl who was the daughter of Aphrodite and she wasn't very nice. Her name was Shannon.  She liked to tell everyone what to do.

After they arrived in Paris, they were told to meet the person who was in charge of their quest. 

His name was Sir Ivan and he would tell them what they were supposed to do for the six to nine months that they were going to be in Paris.  But first, they needed a place to stay.  So, they wandered around until Aria spotted an abandoned warehouse.

They decided to stay in the warehouse after they checked to make sure that it was safe. 

Then Aria sent an Iris Maessage to Chiron telling him that she and the others were safe.  Then they went to sleep.  Aria surprisingly did not have any nightmares.

The next day, the group met with the leader and he told them about a moster cave a few miles away that they needed to take care of.  And so they set out to see the cave and hoped that they wouldn't get captured.

The cave was really big and when they got to the middle, they saw that it split into a bunch of different tunnels. 

Aria said; "Leon and I will tak this tunnel and see where it goes, the rest of you take one of the other tunnels. 

When you get done, we will meet back in the main part of the cave."  So they all split up in groups and went through the cave tunnels.

When Aria and Leon reached the end of their tunnel, it was a dead end.  So, they turned around and headed back the way they came. 

But when they reached the main part of the cave, they saw that the others had not come back yet. 

So they followed the footprints of one of the groups and went through one of the other tunnels.  Just when they thought they were going to run into another dead end, someone screamed.

Aria and Leon followed the scream, and when they got to where the sceam came from, they saw three big monsters standing over the other three kids who were tied up in the middle of the room.

Aria tried to think of how to get her companions free.  She said to Leon; "I really wish that Allora was here. She can usually coe up with good ideas in these kinds of situations."

Leon replied and said; "Me too.  Maybe the Apollo kids can blind the monsters and we can kill them."  Aria said; "Yeah, that might actually work."  So, Leon distracted the monsters and Aria snuck over to the kids and untied them. 

She then told the twins that she needed them to blind the monsters.  And they did.  Then Aria and Leon used their powers to kill the monsters and then they all ran out f the caves and back to the warehouse.

Aria's POV

When I saw the other kids tied up and the monsters hovering over them, I was terrified.  I have been in this kind of situation with Allora many times.  I was glad to have Leon by my side. 

We worked together and managed to get the others freed.  When we seperated, I wasn't very sure of what I was doing.  Now that I think about it, we all should have stayed together.

I did feel better after we made it back to the warehouse.  We all slept hopefully well.  I was glad to not have any dreams. 

I really wished that Allora was here, but as far as I know, she is in California.  I can't believe that I have been away from camp for three months already.

Back to story.

The next day, they worked on a strategy on how to get rid of all of the monsters.  The other thing that they had to do was find other kids like them to take to one of the demigod camps. 

When they couldn't think of anything, they left the warehouse and did a little sight-seeing.  While they were wandering around, they were attacked by monsters.

While they were fighting off the monsters, Aria was cut on her left arm by a knife. Leon wasn't hurt and neither were the twins.  Shannon had cuts on her face and arms, but other than that she was fine.  Just when they thought they were going to be outnumbered,  Aria saw vines growing around the monsters holding them in place.

After the monsters were killed, Aria saw Allora and was surprised that Allora was in Paris.  They talked for a minute and said; "When did you get here?  I thought you were still in California."  Allora said; "Well, I was in California. 

Then I went back to camp for a while and then Chiron told me that I needed to join you here.  So, that is why I am here."

Aria was glad to see her friend again.  She introduced Allora to the kids that she didn't know.  And then Aria said; "Come on, it's not safe standing in the streets.  Let's go to our hideout." 

So, they all went to the warehouse and spent the rest of the day talking.  Allora and her companions were a little scraped up, but Allora was able to heal the group.

Allora told  Aria that she was told to stay in Paris for the last two or three months. Aria was very happy that her friend was staying.  Michael and Whitney were also there. 

Aria told Allora that she was having problems with Shannon, because Shannon was flirting with Leon and trying to get him away from Aria and it was driving her crazy.

Allora said; "Why don't you just tell her that you were given orders to send her back to Camp Jupiter?"  Aria said; "If I do that, she won't believe me and say that I was just making it up."

So, the next thre months went by without a whole bunch of monster activity and everyone in the group was glad when they got a message from Chiron, saying that it was time for them to return to their camps. 

Aria, Allora, Leon, Michael and Whitney went back to Camp Half-Blood and the other kids returned to Camp Jupiter.

When the group returned to camp, everyone gathered around them and wanted  to hear about their adventures.  Chiron told them that the group needed to rest and then they could tell about their adventures.
