I called for the pizza while Harry showered. A large cheese and pepperoni with extra blue cheese dip. Harry was singing as usual, one of his favorites by The Eagles. I'm not much of a fan so I never remember the titles. I grabbed my own change of clothes while waiting for him to finish up. We both decided to get rid of the smell of 'moving day' before dinner.
Louis was downstairs watching a game of football Harry had recorded. He was pretty into it too, I could hear him yelling every now and then. It was looking like another quiet evening outside. Other than the rain pounding on the rooftop. I stared out the bedroom window admiring the peaceful scene. Headlights came and passed a few times in those short moments. Weather doesn't stop a busy street. Couples walked quickly with umbrellas and newspapers, only partially shielded from the rain.

The water from the bathroom had ceased. I picked up my grey T-shirt and my old bleach spotted yoga pants from hair school. For years after I got my license, I worked at a small salon near my apartment. I recently decided to move to a new salon. It was a higher-end shop so they hired me as an assistant for their top stylist. On days she wasn't scheduled, I would work as receptionist.
Harry walked into our room, a towel wrapped tightly around his hips. I stopped, staring in a sudden daze.
He stepped closer with a smirk. "Something the matter?" Putting his hand under my chin, he pulled me into a gentle kiss.

Letting go, I smiled "not at all" I sauntered off to the bathroom while he rummaged through his clothes. Before I shut the door, I turned back to gaze at him once again. His wet hair sticking to his face and neck. The muscles in his back moved in fluid motions as he continued his search. All mine. My head rested against the doorway. Finally, I walked back to him. I wrapped my arms around his waist, placing a kiss on his shoulder.
"That was a quick shower." His voice vibrated through his body.

"Well I didn't yet, you just look so beautiful." He twisted around to face me.

"I feel like I should say that to you, stinky." I slapped his arm playfully.

"No, you shouldn't. But you can kiss me" I smirked and raised an eyebrow.

"I think I like that idea."  He wrapped me tighter in his arms. His lips met mine hurriedly. My hands held his face, his were on my waist. He held me close to him, keeping our lips entwined.

"Well! Sorry to interrupt but the pizza's here and I haven't got any change." Harry and I parted quickly staring wide eyed at Louis.

"Right, yeah, I'll get that." I grabbed my wallet off the dresser and ran past Louis down the steps. My cheeks were flushed. We have nothing to hide, I know, but that doesn't make me a fan of public make-outs.
I paid the delivery guy who couldn't have been more than 16. I rushed to the kitchen to make myself a plate before it was too late. Louis and Harry barreled down the stairs like a pair of bulls.
"Alright calm down you two!" I laughed swatting at Harry's arm that he wrapped around my waist, whisking me into the air, spinning.
We gathered on the couch with our food. The boys fought over which game to watch on the sports channels.

"No games, let's watch a film."

Louis groaned, sinking further into the cushions,
"Something good at least Alex, I can't stomach a romance."

"What kind of girl do you take me for Tomlinson? It's clearly a night for '29th Street'"

"What?" They both stared at me blankly.

"Oh come on! You haven't even seen it?! That's it we're watching it." I picked the DVD out of the case and placed it in the DVD player. I turned around to the two boys on their phones. I stood up quickly and grabbed their phones.

"Mine for the next two hours." I stated. Louis rolled his eyes, making Harry chuckle. I pressed play and laughed as Harry and Lou kept shouting at Frank for not wanting to win the lottery. "Can you two shut up? He explains why, calm down." I laid my head on Harry's lap, curled in a ball. His fingers floated through my hair mindlessly as he watched, causing me to drift off peacefully.

I don't know how long I was out. The movie was well past over and the guys had already retrieved their phones from the waist band of my pants. For their sake I'm going to assume Harry grabbed them both. I kept my eyes opened low. They had left me on the couch and were sitting on the floor playing a game. I reached out to Harry, gently rubbing his back.

"Ooh hoo hoo that tickles a bit love, quit it." He tried to scoot away, distracting him from the game letting Louis get a goal. "F*cks sake!" He pushed Louis over causing him to dramatically roll away.

I sat up and leaned in next to Harry's ear, "Be good to our guest babe"

"Not long as he keeps being a shit!"

"Oi strong words my man! You're the one winning anyhow!" Louis kicked at Harry's thigh. Harry lunged at him and they fumbled about throwing halfhearted fists at each other.

The time was reaching 11pm and I had an appointment at the salon at 8:30. A crazy time for most salons on a Saturday. However, we had mostly middle aged women come in looking for a fresh cut and color while their husbands and/or kids were still home over sleeping. Crazy that I could be one of those women someday. Shelling out cash to fix my hair every few weeks, running errands on my day off to keep the house afloat.

I snuck away up the steps as they continued their stupid fight. A pair of grey sweatpants and one of Harry's t-shirts, perfect. I had to take a quick bathroom break followed by brushing my teeth and hair, then washing and moisturizing my face. I could still hear them bickering and shouting at the game. As well as each other. I rolled my eyes and prepared my clothes for work; all black of course. I worked mostly by appointment so I didn't have much scheduled for the day.

Once I felt really ready, I climbed into bed, taking in a deep breath that smelled of Harry's cologne. I sat staring at the dimly lit ceiling for a while. My mind was racing with thoughts of the wedding. I felt like it couldn't come soon enough. Though, it wouldn't be much different. All we're missing is a piece of paper. We spent most of our lives together, always together. Still, to us and the people around us, it feels like the most anticipated event in the world. Everyone we know tells us they saw it coming from day one. All I had seen at the time was a sweet little green-eyed boy. He saw the new girl who needed a friend.

I got lost in my thoughts for what felt like hours. I could finally hear faint, careful, footsteps getting closer to the door. It suddenly became so easy to fall asleep as Harry slipped into bed beside me. His hand met my left arm, willing me to turn into him. I complied with no hesitation. Once again his sweet scent filled my lungs and my body let out a deep breath of relief. I had no current worries, but his presence relaxed me completely, releasing me into a peaceful sleep.
