Imagine you've been going through a hard time at home, but you've been too quiet and guarded to talk about it to anyone, so Jonas doesn't know what to think.

"Jonas..." You trailed off. You both stood by your locker. Jonas had approached you after class as you were switching out you books for your classes the other half of the day. "I'm sorry"

You were regretting, at that moment, not going any quicker. You knew he would question you, and you'd shy away like you been doing more and more recently.

It hadn't always been so bad at home, you'd had an older brother that had just moved out to go to college, and your mother had died a year or two ago. It had been good, but now you and your father were just left with silence, until he got drunk- like most nights, except your brother had been able to protect you, but not anymore. Your dad was an angry drunk, and when he was angry, he shouted and threw things at you, which is why you'd recently started using A LOT more make up then you'd ever had before.

"You know what, let me know when you want to talk about it- I'll be all ears and ready to listen. I'm just worried about you. You're my girlfriend and I just want to see you happy, that's all I want," Jonas said, thinking over his words in his head thoroughly before speaking them. He sent you a comforting smile that made you contradict on the idea of not telling him.

"Maybe," you have a slight nod, followed by a small smile as you closed your locker, hugging your books to your chest. "Thank you, Jonas,"
