Classes and Dinner

I made it just in time to Arithmasy and quickly sat down next to a Ravenclaw student. The class went on lie always and like normal I almost dosed off at one point. But the good news is I got and excellent grade on a paper I had to write. Once the class was out it felt like the entire class let out a breath of relief and scurried out the door. I headed to Potions but was stopped by someone calling my name. I turned around to see Cedric making his way towards me.

"Hi Cedric." I greeted him with smile.

"Devona I was wondering if you wanted to go to the Hogsmede trip with me this weekend?" He asked nervously.

"Sure, I'd love to." I replied. He gave me a quick hug, said goodbye and we went our separate ways to our next classes.I hurried into the Potions class room but I still seemed to be the last person there and the only seat was with Draco. I went and sat down putting my book bag on the ground next to my chair.

"Hey Devona." Greeted Draco just over a whisper.

"Hey Draco." I responded. We were whispering because no one new we were cousins and they would probably get the wrong idea from a Gryffindor girl and a Slytherin boy talking using first names and not glaring at each other. I lost my train of thought right after that because Snape came into our class and gave us a potion we had to make with our partner.

"Ok Black you get the ingredients and I will set up the cauldron." Ordered Draco.

"Whatever Malfoy." I said standing up and grabbing all the ingredients we needed. Then we quickly began making our potion. Me doing most of the work. But I was used to that because I normally got paired with people who were not to good at potions and I was one of the better ones in the class. But Snape never gave me good grades because I was Black's daughter

"Oy Black pay attention." Said Draco hitting my shoulder softly.

"Soryy." I whispered.

"It's fine just pay attention." He whispered back. I nodded and focused on Potions and not back life story. We finished quickly and were the first done. we gave Snape our potion and Draco negotiated our way out of having to stay in class. We grabbed our bus and left to go to Dinner really early.

"So Devona there's a rumor you and Digory are dating." Stated Draco.

"Yeah he asked me last night after the first task." I replied as we kept walking.

"Hmm." He said thinking.

"What kind out a response is that?" I asked laughing.

"It just surprises me that you would date him." Responded Draco.

"Yeah I guess, but he is suer nice and I guess I did like him with realizing it." I replied as we made our way into the empty Great hall.

"Well nice talking to you. I hope we get to do this again, it's the one time I get to be around normal family members." He said giving me a hug before we went to opposite sides of the Great hall to our house tables. I sat there doing homework to get a head start since tomorrow we were going to hogsmede when class finished and people came bustling in an sitting at heir tables eating. I kept working till Hermione, Ron and Harry came over and sat down. I put my things away and noticed Harry and Ron were no longer fighting.

"Hey you guys fixed your pets squabble." I said teasing them. Their only response to my statement was a death glare from both of them.

"Well it sound like I hit a nerve...." I said sarcadtically.

"Whatever. Who's ready for Hogsmede?" Asked Ron trying to change the subject.

"Me." Hermione and I said at the same time.

"Me too." Agreed Harry. We were then joined by the twins coming and sitting on either side of me.

"well hello boys." I greeted them.

"Hi Devona." They both said gloomily.

"what's up with you two?" Questioned Hermione before taking a bite of her dinner.

"Nothing we're just tired." Replied George defensively.

"I've known you guys for 13 years, this is not how you act when you're tired. When you're tired your eyes are almost closed and normally you would be laying your heads on Devona's shoulders if she was sitting next to you." Stated Ginny sitting down next to Hermione.

"Well..." They said at the same time without really having a response.

"How was potions for you guys?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Fine." Harry. ron and Hermione said in unison.

"How bout you?" Asked Hermione.

"It was Ok." I replied. The three of them looked at me like are you crazy? I just laughed at their expressions. I quickly finished my dinner as the people around me made small talk and then I pushed my plate away from me abut to get up.

"Devona where are you going?" Asked Harry.

"Up to bed, I'm really tired from helping pack up the dragons and the Hogsmede trip is tomorrow." I replied stating up.

"I'll come with you, I'm pretty tired my self." Said Harry standing up.We said good night t our friends then began our track up to the Gryffindor common room.

"What's wrong Harry?" I asked for he had been extremely quiet for most of dinner.

"Well... my scar has been hurting a lot lately and I don't know what to do." He said.

"I realize I sound exactly like Hermione but, talk to Dumbledore about it. I have a feeling it means something more that just a head ache." I said patting his back as he said the password and we entered the common room.

"Thanks for the advice Devona, good night." He said before he headed up the stairs toards the Boy's dorm.

"Good night Harry." i said before doing the same but going up the girls stairs.
