"Why do they always have to travel in packs? How are you supposed to get one alone to ask them." Complained Harry as we walked into the Great Hall the next day.

"For goodness sake, Harry, you slayed dragons. If you can't get a date who can." Said an exasperated.

"Think I'd take the dragon right now." Said Harry as we sat at the Gryfindor table.

"You two are such wimps just ask one." I said tired of listening to their continues complaining.

"I agree with Devona." Stated Hermione as she began eating Breakfast.

"That's easy for you too say, you didn't have McGonagle telling you you had to get a date." Complained Harry.

"Yeah and you don't have to ask." Agreed Ron.

"Well for your information, I think it's stupid that you think the guy has to ask the girl." Stated before shoving food in my mouth.

"Well whatever." Said Ron before eating like his life depends on it. We all finished our food surprisingly quickly and went our separate ways. I decided I would go say hello to my dear friend Victor. I walked over to the slithering table. Getting glares all the way. To sit between Victor and Jack, Victor's friend from Durmstrang.

"Helloooo." I said.

"Hello." Replied Victor before shoving food in his mouth.

"So Devona did someone ask you to the Yule Ball?" Questioned Jack.

"No not yet, but it really doesn't matter." I stated.

"Sure it doesn't..." He annoyingly trailed off.

"Now you're making me feel bad." I said pouting.

"Fine change of subject, how was your date? Do I need to pummel someone?" Asked Victor.

"It was great." I answered happily.

"Ok, fine." Said Victor dramatically "I really wanted to pummel him."

"Well you have some time before that will be needed." I replied honestly.

"Why is that?" Asked Jack and Victor at the same time.

"Because we haven't arranged a second date." I replied honestly.

"Well I'm sure he is thinking about one right now." Said Jack gesturing towards the Hufflepuff table where Cedric was smiling my way.

"Ugh you two embarrass me." I complained.

"What? We didn't d anything. He's the on looking at you from across the room." Exclaimed Victor.

"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah." I shook my head.

"Well we better get going." Said Jakc standing up while looking at hs watch.

"Ok bye, nice talking wth you guys." I said giving them each a hug before they departed. I soon decided I would just go out to the black lake and waste my time. So I walked out of the Great Hall and almost made it to the door when someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me around.

"So you're dating Digory." said Draco.

"Well I went on a date with him if that is counted as dating." I replied.

"Ohhh, my cousin got a boyfriend, my cousin got a boyfriend-" His little song was cut short by my hand being clamped over his mouth.

"Be quiet ok." I said. He nodded and I removed my hand.

"I never would have thought you would date a Hufflepuff." He laughed.

"Whatever." I laughed along with him.

"Do you think he is going to ask you to the ball?" Asked Draco.

"I don't know." I replied honestly.

"Well do you want him to ask you?" He asked.

"Honestly? Yes." I replied looking down feeling my cheeks turn a slight pink.

"Awww. Well I have to g I'll talk to you later." He said giving me a quick hug.

"Who knew talking to you would be like talking to a girl." I whispered sarcastically in his ear.

"I take that as a compliment." He aid Before walking towards his next class making me laugh. Moments like this made me wonder what other people in my family might actually be like.
