The next few weeks went bye in a blur and Harry still hadn't found out the golden egg. It was the night before the second task and Harry was still trying to find out the egg. I was sat in the Library trying to finish some last minute homework when Dumbledore came in.
"Ms. Black I need you in my office." He said. I nodded my head quickly gathered my things and followed him to his office.
"What do you need Professor?" I asked as we entered his Office.
"Wait till the others get here." He said."What others?" I asked confused as to was he meant since no one else was in the room besides me and Dumbledore. The second I said that Ron, Hermione and my little cousin Gabrielle.
"Hi Gaby." I said going up and giving her a hug.
"Hi Devona." She said hugging me back.
"Professor why is my cousin here and why are the rest of us here?" I questioned.
"Well... tomorrow is the second task and all the champions need to retrieve something special to them in under an hour. You four are the something special." He explained.
"Wait so you mean we are going to get rescued?" Asked Ron.
"You will all be in the Black lake under spell and a champion will save you." Responded Dumbledore.
"Wait who's saving us?" Asked Hermione.
"Well, Victor's is supposed to save Hermione, Fluer is supposed to save Gabrielle, Harry is supposed to save Ron and Cedric is supposed to save Devona." Explained Dumbledore.
"So what are we supposed to do then?" I asked.
"Well we are going to put a spell on you and put you in the black lake." Said Dumbledore.
"Wait what will happen to us then?" Asked Ron.
"Don't worry you'll be fine, you'll be able to breath and you'll only be asleep." Replied Dumbledore.
"That makes me feel so much better." I said laughing as Dumbledore walked away from us.
"You think." Said Gaby in her thick french accent.
"So you're Fluer Delacour's sister?" Asked Hermione trying to make conversation.
"Yes." Replied Gaby.
"Well it's time" Said Dumbledore "Everyone go sit down on the chairs and just relax."
"Ok." We all replied as we sat down. Professor Flitwick came towards us and casted a charm. Then everything went black. I was relaxed but still able to think clearly. It was a peaceful sleep. I decided to just relax but the last thought I had was that I hoped Cedric would find me soon because it was actually a little cold.
