Unusual - Thirteen !

Jordell:

Me:"why haven't you been answering my calls?"

Lisa:"not right now Jordell, I'm tired." She did look tired. Her eyes were puffy bags just dragging her face lower. Something was up and I didn't know what, ever since that phone call I hadn't heard from her at all.

Me:"I know its because I didn't come that day. What happened?" She shrugged lightly looking weak and I sighed. "Lisa." She faced me and I saw the tears build in her eyes. I moved closer to her and wrapped my arms around her pulling her in closer.

Lisa:"he cheated on me" she sniffled and I rubbed her back. "With a man"

Me:"WHAT?!" I pulled her from my embrace and faced her with shock. She nodded and sniffled once more.

Lisa:"I caught an STI from him, when I went to confront him, he admitted everything. I've never felt so ashamed-embarrased- I feel sick just thinking about it" tears continued to fall from her eyes and I pulled her back in closer.

Me:"I should have come over"

Lisa:"its okay, Carol came" I sighed disappointed in myself for not being there when she needed me. "You should be home now, its half term, enjoy your two weeks" she tried to smile but I saw the pain.

Me:"I can't leave you when your like this!"

Lisa:"its okay go. I'm packing away and leaving in about an hour anyway. I'll be fine." I sighed and grabbed my bag.

Me:"will I get to see you for two weeks?" She shrugged.

Lisa:"like you said, it's too dangerous." I screwed my face in annoyance and cursed David in my head for putting her through this. I kissed her forehead then left the classroom heading home..

Lisa:

I finished up with marking the rest of the papers then I left the school. Thank God there was a two week half term, I needed the time off. I got into my car and went to KFC, I got myself some food because I wasn't planning on cooking tonight. I then headed to tesco's and bought myself some ice cream and dvd's to keep me company for the next two weeks. I paid then got back into my car and drove home. I got inside turned the heating on then put the ice cream in the freezer. I sat down watching tv whilst eating my KFC. Half way through, the doorbell rang. I dragged myself to the door and opened it to find someone standing there with their head low and a hoody covering their face. He lifted his head slowly and I was met with his deep brown eyes. He stepped in and I shut the door whilst locking it.

Me:"what are you doing here?" He slumped a bag down onto the floor and I looked at him confused.

Jordell:"I came to stay with you for the next two weeks"

Me:"why?"

Jordell:"you need someone, you can't stay alone after what's happened" he stepped closer to me and pulled a strand of hair away from my face. I looked away feeling awkward for some reason and he looked around the room. "It's warm and cosy in here; that what you're eating for dinner?" He pointed at my KFC and I nodded.

Me:"what's wrong with KFC?"

Jordell:"nothing, you need a home cooked meal that's all. Can't be feeding on junk when you're upset"

Me:"I'm not upset" I said while crossing my arms in defence. He raised his brow at me and chuckled lightly. He grabbed my food and sat down and started eating it. "HEY!" I said while trying to take it from him. In one quick move, he ate the last of my chicken and stuffed his mouth with chips. "JORDELL!" He laughed and winked at me before swallowing the food. "Why would you do that?" He ignored me and picked up his bag then headed upstairs and I followed him up.
