Hospital!

chapter 7

lucifer's pov:

"now I'm taking you to the hospital but I can't come in with you ok so you'll have to walk when we get there I'm sorry" her right leg was infected from the knee down, and to top it off she was starting to lose conciseness. "Lue I feel funny" that's all she said before passing out. I know she can't feel pain and all but I'm really worried about her.

Soon i reached the hospital with Annabelle still in my arms, it must have only taken about 60 seconds or something but she was still deeply unconscious. I reached the hospital doors and rushed in "Nurse please help she's hurt her leg and its all swollen up" the nurse rushed over to us and looked at Annabelle's right leg "oh my!, ok just follow me" the nurse said and quickly walked off towards two big double doors, i followed her into the room and saw some people sat on chairs i assume it was the waiting room. I kept following her into another room where there was a doctor and 2 nurses "Mister Widdowson, we need your help rather urgently." the nurse said in a loud voice and the doctor turned around when he saw Annabelle his eyes opened wider and he sat up from his seat in a rush."Oh no, ok quick put her on the table" the doctor ordered and i obeyed, placing Bell on the table i took a couple steps back "ok kid i need you to go wait outside, I'll have a nurse come get ya when I'm done." i obeyed reluctantly, as i knew she was in safe hands.

Time skip to after the doctor had finished:

"ok mister.......errm.....Louie?" FINALLY! "yes that's me" i said standing up from my chair "the doctor is ready for you now" i walk past the nurse and into the big room where i saw the doctor stood near a bed with Bell lay on it, she looked like she was still unconscious. "Ah you must be Louie, am i correct?" Bell had a big bandage on her leg and chest she was also wearing one of those stupid hospital gowns."Yes that's me" i said staring down at Bell "do you mind coming to my office so we can chat a little?" the doctor asked gesturing his hand towards a single blue door. "errm ok" i replied and followed the doctor into his office.Once we were inside he shut the door and sat at his desk. "So mister Louie, as you know Bell has hurt her leg pretty badly. We also found several cuts and marks all over her body inclouding one large cut over her heart, she also has several bite marks on her arms and upper legs.Do you know where these could have come from?" i was shocked i had no idea there were more wounds on her body. "No sir i only knew of the one on her right knee, i had no idea there were others." He seemed shocked at my words but softened shortly after "well do you have any idea how she could have gotten them? bullying perhaps or maybe self-harm?" "well she doesn't really talk to people very much, so I don't really know about either of those things.But as far as i know she doesn't self-harm and she doesn't get bullied. Errm have you rung her parents?" i honestly don't want him to call her parents because i know Bell wouldn't want the doctor to "No not yet we don't have their number i know that the nurse has already asked you this but are you her brother? its just you look very alike." i was shocked he thought that but i had to disagree "no sir im not her brother" "well then what are you to her?" i looked him in the eyes as i spoke "im just a good friend sir" "ok then. Do you want me to ring her parents? i think it is important that we do but if you don't want us to then that's ok" i didn't know what to say. If i tell him to ring her mom and dad then Bell won't be happy but if i don't then her mom and dad will be worried sick. "is it ok if you don't call them until she wakes up please, its just i don't know if she would like you to ring them or not." i answered the doctor politely "well the anesthetic should wear off in a couple of seconds now, but i would like to keep her in the hospital overnight if that's ok?" the doctor said and stood up "yes that's fine. May i go and see her now?" i asked and also stood up from my seat "you may" with those words i walked past the doctor and out the door to where Bell was.

She was sat up on the bed talking to a nurse, i walked over to the side of her bed "hay Bell, how you feeling?" she snapped her gaze to me and smiled "im fine now thanks for bringing me here, i hope i wasn't a bother" i wanted to ask her why she had other scars on her but i didn't want to ruin her good mood."It's really no problem, im just happy you're ok." i smiled and sat on the edge of the bed, i glanced at the nurse as if to ask her to leave and she walked off. "So, are you going to tell me what the doctor said?" she said looking in my eyes, i let out a sigh and began to speak "well he said that he would like to keep you in the hospital overnight but he said that if you're not ok with that, then you don't have to." she looked down at her hands and sighed "have they called my mom or dad?" she asked still staring down at her hands "no" she let out a sigh of relief just as her phone buzzed, she picked up her phone off of the side and looked at the screen."Tut" she rolled her eye's and looked at me "what's wrong?" i asked concern laced my voice "im in trouble for not being at home." she looked more scared than angry but mostly.....sad.

"I don't want to sleep in the hospital but im not going home." she spoke emotionlessly and cold i was shocked at her words but i was mostly worried "where are you going to stay then?" i asked and she just looked at me with a sad look "ill stay in that treehouse we made." i would offer to let her sleep at my place but its to dangerous."In that case ill come with you." she smiled sadly and put her phone on the side "do you think i could go now?" she asked and i nodded my head slightly "yep, ill tell the doctor now. Go and get ready" i sat up and walked over to the doctor "we would like to go home now if that's ok." the doctor turned around and handed me a pen and a clipboard "that's fine but could u please sign here to for your release?" i signed the paper and walked back to Bell who was standing there ready to go. "Bu-bye stupid hospital" she muttered quietly, it made me smile nowing that she had chired up slightly.
