Blood red!

chapter 13

When i got home i  went straight to my room and went in the shower to wash the blood off my arms and hands once i was in the shower i started to think about the dream i had in the woods again. I was trying to remember every detail thinking about where i had seen that demon before but as soon as i tried i felt really dizzy and the water turned red, blood red.I let out a yelp and jumped out of the bath wrapping a towel around myself and going in my room, i sat on my bed for a while until i had calmed down. I got dressed in a pair of leggings and a plain gray top with a dark blue hoodie over the top.

After i had my shower i got ready to go out again this time i brought my sound isolation headphones so i could stay calm and not get hungry. I walked out my room with my headphones on and my hood up over my head so i could calm down some more. When i finally got to the hospital it was (6:00PM)  i was a little early but i didn't care it just meant that i could get som food from the vending machines. I walked over to the machine and took out my money from the pocket in my rucksack, I stared at the food inside for a moment until i saw a small box of pringles.I pushed the buttons -374- and put in £0.50 after i did, i could see the pringles box fall down to the slot where i put my hand in and grabbed my snack. I opened the lid and peeled off the paper top pulling out a crisp, untell i felt my hood drop and my headphones be pulled off my head. I turned around emotionlessly and saw Alex standing there with a smug grin on his face holding my headphones up near his ear. "What ya listing to?" he said listening to my headphones they beat loudly near his ear. 

"I 'was' listening to castle of glass until you stopped me" i said coldly jumping up to reach my headphones out of his hand, but he pulled them up so i couldn't reach them. I grabbed ahold of his arm trying to pull it down as i jumped again trying to grab them from his hand but failed again.His face went a bright shade of red as he looked down at me, i followed his gaze and blushed. his eyes were focused on my chest as i pulled away and caved my chest with my arms. "s-sorry, here" he apologized handing me my headphones back and scratching the back of his neck. I snatched them out of his hand and put them around my neck "so what are you doing here anyway?" he asked as i looked up at him his, face still a slight pink "that's none of your concern" i said bluntly and he looked shocked at first but then softened his face. "well im here to see doctor Curtis," he said. 'HMM doctor.....curtis?.......' click said until suddenly he shouted 'OH victor!!' my eyes opened wider as i looked back up at him "you mean Victor?" i asked wondering why he would need to see victor because Victor was a mental doctor so why would Alex need him? 

"because im kinda depressed" he admitted sheepishly. I was taken back by his words but kept my composure. ' so that's how he saw right through you that time in the woods!' 

"how do you know Victor?" he asked finally looking from the ground to my eyes. "That's why im here" i sad letting out a sigh "c'on i want to sit down. you can share my crisps too" i walked over to the row of chairs with Alex behind me, i sat down on a seat, considering there was only three other people in the room there was a lot of empty chairs. Alex followed after sitting on the chair next to me. "so why wasn't you at school on Friday or today?" he asked. 'WOW SOME FRIEND YOU ARE! SHE WAS AT SCHOOL TODAY BUT YOU WHERE TO BUSY HAVING BITCHE'S BOOBS PRESSED IN YOUR FACE TO NOTICE!!!' click yelled really loudly im sure that if i could feel pain i would have grabbed my head. I must have stayed quiet for to long because Alex spoke up "Annabell?"I looked up at him and sighed. 

"I was at school today," i said brushing a hand through my hair in frustration "but i dind't see you at school today, im sorry Annabell" i let out another sigh and looked back up at him "So you made some new friends then?" i asked a little upset but i should have seen it coming i guess. He stared into my eye's and then opened his mouth to speak just as a nurse came up to us and asked "Excuse me but are you Alex Peterson?" the lady asked with a warm smile. "Yes i am" Alex said returning the smile "the doctor will see you now"the lady said and walked away "umm Annabell?"Alex called my name and i looked at him so he could continue "well you see i don't know where to go could you take me please?" he asked sheepishly i nodded my head and sat up walking in the direction of the hallway leading to Victors office with Alex close behind. It didn't take long before we got to the door that said "Doctor Curtis" on it. I pointed to the door and walked away until he grabbed my wrist and stopped me "Annabell im sorry" he said looking really sad i assumed it was about not noticing me at school i didn't say anything for a while i just stood there. I pulled my hand out of his grasp and looked up at him "it's fine. you should go you'll be late." i said walking away i could still feel his gaze on my back but ignored it and kept walking around the corner.

I had been waiting for about 20 minutes until my name was called i looked up to see Alex standing in front of me. "You can go in now," he said with a smile i stood up and Alex sat down. why Is he sitting dow? anyway, i walked to Victor's office and sat down on the soft couch.

"Hello Annabell"  Victor said happily picking up his clipboard "How are you today?" i sat there playing with the eaten box of pringles. "good", i said plainly with half lidded eyes. "Tha's good, have you been taking your medicine?" he asked with a cheery voice, i hadn't been taking the medicine he gave me, i had stopped taking them about a month ago but the new ones he gave me last time i hadn't eve tried them, because i knew that they wouldn't work. "i have," i lied, if i told him the truth then he would make me stay in the hospital so he could make me take them. "That's great!" he said happily

After that he just kept asking me questions until we ran out of time and i had to leave. I walked out of the room and in the lobby i put on my headphones and pulled up my hood when i felt someone grab my arm. I turned around and saw Alex "you waited?" i asked kind of shocked i pulled down my headphones to my neck and let them rest around my neck as i watched his goofy smile spread across his face. "yup, i thought we could walk together" he said opening the door for me, i walked out and he followed. I started walking towards the woods when he grabbed my arm "Where are you going?" he asked "im going home" i said calmly.

"no i mean why are you going that way it's quicker to walk this way" he replied pointing to the street and pulling me along with him, i looked at the busy street and felt my heart sink in my chest. "NO!" i yelled at him yanking my hand out of his grasp, he looked shocked as he stoped walking and looked at me. "look you wanted to walk home with me so we walk my way" i said calming myself down and walking to the woods. "o-okay then" he stuttered and followed me away from the hospital to the entrance of the woods.
