Chapter 36

I spun around on my heel and came face to face with two tall black poles. I followed the poles up and saw a strange demon thing, to be honest I don't know what it was. The it was extremely tall inhumanly tall and it was wearing a tuxedo, the thing that caught my eye the most and what made me a little scared was the lack of facial features on its plane paper white face. It was simply staring down at me, creepy.
"Wow" I said under my breath and reached out letting my fingers graze its white hand? Or at least I think its a hand. I quickly took my hand away when I felt a strange shock go up my arm, the strange thing mad a curios hmm noice without looking away from me. "Hay! Where'd you go!?" All of a sudden I heard Jeff yelling and getting closer. The strange thing looked up at where Jeff's voice was coming from and I used this opportunity to quickly sneak away. I easily slipped past the strange being and ran as quickly and quietly as I could, thankfully the tall creature didn't notice. I continued to run even thou I was a good distance away and could no longer see the tall creature. I slowed my pace a little and came to a stop before climbing a tree that was next to me. Where have I seen that thing before? I swear I definitely have seen it before but where?

Flash back to little 5 yeah old Alice:

"Alice! Where did you go?" Marshall shouted in a squeaky voice. I giggled a little cute girly giggle as I ran deeper into the woods. I looked behind me to check that my brother hadn't caught up with me and when I turned back around after seeing that Marshall was no were near me I saw it. I slowed my run to a stop as I came to a halt in front of a very tall creature. I was used to seeing strange creatures in the demon realm but this one seemed different, I've never seen another demon like it.
He was just stood in front of me not saying anything and simply looking at me. "Hello" I said looking up at his paper white face thing. He didn't answer me all I heated was a strange static noice in my ears it didn't hurt but it was quit loud. He bent down to me without bending his legs and extended his hand out to me. I took it with out a second thought and suddenly got a strange shock go up my arm.
"You're strange" I said and looked up at him again, if I didn't know any better I would of thought he was smiling at me. But hay I'm only 5 so I don't know much better.

"Strange little boy" the being said in a static voice. I can see why he thought I was a boy, my dad always makes me wear this stupid mask every time I go out into the garden. And to top it off I was wearing my brothers clothes so I didn't get any of my dresses dirty.
"There you are!" Marshall shouted making me turn around and look where I heard his voice.

But when I looked back the tall creature was gone.
"Where'd it go?" I asked myself just as Marshall came running up to me and giving me a big hug. "Got you!" He cheered "come on let's go home now, dad said dinners ready" Marshall said and grabbed my hand pulling me away from the woods.

End of flashback:

I woke up from my dream or memory as I felt myself falling. I calmly looked down and saw I was falling out of the tall tree I was in. I smiled as I hit the hard ground and winced at the sweet pain it gave me. I landed on my back with a loud thud as blood came rushing up my throat and out my mouth. The blood splashed on the inside of my mask and some of it bounced back on my face, I grunted and lay there for a while just staring up at the stars that shone through the leaves. My eyes started to get heavy and my mind went blank as i slowly fell into a dreamless sleep. Again.
