Chapter 37

"Come on you stupid legs, don't quit on me now!!!" I yelled as I ran down the hallway, I've been running for what seems like days but I just can not find my way out of here. Where's here you may be asking, well, I don't know, huhu see the funny thing is, that err I don't really know where I am or why I need to run but my body and brain are telling me to run. I turned a corner and came to a slippery halt, skinning on my butt as I did may I add. Well I think I now know why I was running. I slowly followed the tall black poles up till I saw that thing again. The tall faceless man, hu you know he kinda has a head like the moon. I shook my head mentally, now is sooo not the time dumb ass!!

The strange creature slowly bent down to my level and opened its urr mouth? It was all black and looked terrifying, there was black goo dripping from the top of its mouth thing to the bottom. I started shaking and that's when BANG!

I jolted up from then hard ground panting and breathing heavily as I grip my heart trying to slow it down.
"J-just a dream" I sighed out and bowed my head down. Slowly I gained my normal heart beat and calmed my breathing down. I sat there a little longer before standing up to my feet, shakily I started walking. I have to get out of these woods. That's all I could think about as I staggered to the clearing where the streets where, it took about three to four minutes to get out. I looked around and checked no one was around before I took off my mask and unzipped my hoodie, I stuffed my mask in the hoodie and rolled it up into a ball. "The air is so much fresher this way" I said put loud before stepping out from behind the tree I was hid behind and into the streets. I started walking into town for no reason in particular I just wanted to be out of the woods you know? Anyway I walked past shops and some people, it wasn't as crowded today than it normally is, well it's not that popular I mean it's probably early in the morning so not many people would be awake right now. But I'm not complaining I like it this way. As I walked past this particular shop window a certain something caught my eyes. It was a cool looking rucksack, granted it looked pretty plain and boring but I think that's what I liked about it. It was a dark shade of red and had white splashes on it. Yeah pretty plain but it looked cool okay?! I stood there staring at it until I heated someone say from behind me "if you like it that much just go and buy it" I swerved around as soon as I heated that voice and came face to face with non other than a white hooded man. His head was down so I couldn't see his face but Id recognised his voice anywhere, it was non other than Jeff, obviously I couldn't be all grisly with him because he doesn't know me as a girl, he thinks I'm a boy. "Um I can't" I said shyly acting the total opposite of the 'boy' me. He chuckled at my words, it sounded a little insane but he quickly cleared his frost and stoped. "Oh, I see" he said, I could literally hear the smirk in his voice. "And what's a pretty little think like you doing out at this time?" He asked, at this comment I was pissed off. "Im sorry but it's morning so it's not that late" I stated still trying to sound sweet and shy.
"No sweetheart it's five in the morning" he said making me shocked as hell. Five in the what?!!!!! I tried to play it cool and brush it off without giving him a witty comment "I know I just thought I'd go for a walk. Now if you'd excuse me" I said and walked past him.
"Oh no sweetheart, I don't think you want to do that." He said and grabbed my wrist, I had to hold back my growl and anger as I spun around to face him. This time he was looking directly at me so I could see all his scary glory. I gasped in surprise pretending that I'd never seen him before and that I was shocked. "What's wrong little lady? Don't you think I'm beautiful?" He asked with a chuckle. I stared at him a moment pretending to be paralysed, "oh no what's wrong miss, oops or should I say sir" he smirked. At that I really did freeze, I was so shocked how did he know?! I snatched my hand out of his grip and ran into the shop where I knew he wouldn't follow me. The lady behind the desk looked at me confused and wondering why I was rushing into her shop and blocking the door wit my back. I sighed and locked the door before walking to the counter.
"I'm so sorry about this lady but there's a man out there trying to hurt me" I said as I was stood in front of the desk. "I'm sorry miss but there's no one else out there." The lady said with a worried face. "Wait so you didn't see anyone outside that window?" I asked now worried and scared at the same time.
"No miss, all I saw was you talking to yourself. Um do you wan me to call the hospital?" She said outing her hand on top of mine. I flinched and pulled my hand away. "Don't touch me!" I yelled as I got a flashback from when my mom and dad used to hold my hand in front of others and then beat me when we got home. I shivered and looked down at my feet. "I-I'm sorry. I don't need the hospital I was just joking" I giggled and looked up at the lady giving her a warm smile. "Sorry it was all a joke" I giggled as I scratched the back of my neck. "Oh really? Wow that was a good one I really thought there was something wrong with you" he laughed and I joined in a little. After a couple seconds we stoped laughing and she smiled at me. "Um I'm just gonna have a look around if that's okay?" I asked politely but inside I felt like killing her. I wanted to twist and turn my knife in her eye socket so bad and make her scream and cry. I almost started to drool thinking about it but quickly snapped myself back to reality before it got out of control. "Yes that's fine but do you mind unlocking the door please" she said still smiling I nodded and walked to the door unlocking it before I wondered to the window to look at the bag I liked. But behind the bag was a dark brown wig, it was obviously a girls wig the hair was long and curly. I checked my back pocket and saw I only had £5.50 "damn" I said out loud if I get the wig then I wouldn't have to wear my hood all the damn time and I wouldn't get so sweaty, but mostly It would be harder to notice me as a girl. I'd look moe like a boy so there for is be able to kill as a boy and still be able to go out in public as a girl and all i would have to do is change my clothes and take the wig and mask off. It's genius! Okay that's it I'm getting the wig! Granted I would need to cut it a little so it looked like boys hair but besides that I'd be fine. I picked up the wig and went to the desk to pay.
"Oh is this for another prank?" The lady said with a bright smile. I smiled back "yep this one is gonna be epic" I said in a happy voice. Yeah it is gonna be epic cus I can fix it and then come back for you!
