Going back to the devil

Chapter 10

I skated to the middle of the ring, closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I opened my eyes and started to skate (the same dance as the video) I could feel myself start to smirk as i started to skate on the ice, with the cool breeze hitting my skin at every move and the way the ice felt so safe under my feet. I could hear the song replay over and over in my head, not even having to think about the moves of the dance i just skated as if it was my last time on this planet. I was happy to be on the ice again I almost let my guard down but i didn't care i was too wrapped up in skating to even care. I needed this break from home and school i needed this freedom because without this I'm sure I'd go insane.

Lucifer's  pov

  "she looks so happy doesn't she?" a soft voice said from behind me. I turned around to see Megan with a warm smile on her face walking up to me, i looked back at Annabell who looked as if she was in her own little world, skating as if no one was watching she definitely took my breath away.

"I don't think I've ever seen her look so happy" i answered still watching Annabell                                "yep, who knew that she could be so graceful,"  Megan said in a playful voice. I chuckled at her words my eyes never leaving Annabell as she skated around the ice ring as if she were a kid in a candy shop.

After about twenty minutes i  shouted Annabell to come and get something to eat before i take her home she didn't look too happy about having to stop but she did as i asked and came off the ice. Putting on her leather jacket and putting her ice skates in her bag she started walking up to the door. "Your really good at skating you know, where did you learn how to skat?" i asked as i followed behinde her out the door "i taught myself," she said  in a soft and quiet voice. "wow, really that's awesome" I said slowing down so I could walk next to her.
"I guess so. But I'm still not very good at it yet"
"Not good? An navel your amazing. And you look like you really enjoy skating so don't be so hard on yourself okay?" I replied to her poking my elbow on her arm at the end of my sentence.
"Thanks Louie" she said with a warm, sweet smile.

After we got out of the ice-skating ring and said good bye and thanks to Megan for letting us use it we walked to the woods to take Annabell home.
It took a while to get to her house because the ice-skating ring in about a mile away but I didn't mind it meant that I got to spend more time with Annabell.
We finally got out of the woods and to the back yard of her house "Thanks a lot for today Louie. I really had fun" I was shocked at her words because she barely ever says thank you to people unless she's I front of her parents. I smiled "your welcome I had fun to.I guess I'll see you next week yeah?" I asked expecting her to agree but "sorry I can't next week because I have to go to the doctors but I can on Friday" she replied with a sad look
"That's fine I'll see you Friday then. Bye bunny!" I said walking off. I heated her giggle and say bye back.

-at Lucifers house-
I walked on the hot floor undoing my tie so it was just hanging around my neck, as I walked up to the throne where my dad was sat he shot up and walked to me "How is she. Are they Treating her right Is she eating properly was she happy is she still wearing those pretty dresses I got her. Come boy tell me!" I couldn't help but smile at my dad fore being so over protective of Annabell "yes dad she's fine. And she's not wearing the dresses because you bought her them when she was 8 years old so they most likely don't fit her anymore." I answered my dad walking past him to go to my room. He let out a sigh of relief and turned around "I can't wait to see her again." My dad said expectedly walking back to his throne.
"RAKE!" I yelled walking to my bed within no time Rake was right in front of me "Y-YESsss" he hissed "Do you want to play some pranks on those stupid pastas agin?" I asked wanting to beat the boredom before it got to me. "I-I THOUGHT Y-YOU NEVER ASsssK" he replied with a creepy smile.
