                                                                                          chapter six

When i got home Alex handed me my books and pencil case and asked if i wanted to borrow his other rucksack but i told him that i already had another one.After he left i went upstairs and into my room, my mom and dad was at a party with my brother they didn't want me to come because they said that i was an 'embarrassment to the family name' i wasn't bothered thou i mean i really hate party's there just so noisy and all i ever did was sit at a table and watch people dance like idiots and drink till there sick.Alex had asked me if i wanted him to come over and keep me company for a bit but i simply declined, i didn't want him to get bored of me and to be honest he's the only friend i have and i don't think i want to lose him.Not because i have a crush on him or anything just because he's my only friend. 

Anyway I wanted to go in the woods again today because i didn't get to go in this morning because of my mom.I always liked going in the wood's ever since i was little because sometimes there was a man there, who saved me from being killed one night by a nasty woman, now i know don't talk to strangers and all but he was different he didn't try and hurt me, in fact he always tells me when I need to go home before my mom starts to worry. He was nice and always helped me, all thou, I wouldn't be able to feel it even if he did hurt me.But he never did.

I searched around my room looking for my other bag, "where is it?!" i shouted looking under my bed 'Annabelle calm down it's under your desk' click answered me and i found it where he had said it was.It was a pure white rucksack with red straps, once i had found it i put on my black leather jacket over the top of my top and put on my black leather gloves.I always wear my gloves and jacket when i go to the woods because the man in the woods gave them to me about a year ago but i haven't grown much so they still fit really well.I stuffed 2 book's into my bag and ran down the stairs to the kitchen, i went in the fridge and grabbed the lunchbox i had prepared on Sunday before i went to see the psychiatrist and it is now Monday so its the contents should still be ok.It had chopped up apple and orange in one part and some raw liver in the other, the fruit was for pudding and the raw liver was for dinner i always liked raw liver because it satisfied me and if i ate it then i could go in big grous of people without getting too hungry but it only last a couple minutes.I zip up my bag and walk towards the door, glancing up at the clock i see its 4:40 "oh crap!" i quickly grab my house keys and rush out the door locking it behind me.I run into the woods and down the hill, "YES! do you see it click ?! there right there!" i say pointing my finger to a clearing with a lake in the middle.'yeah i see it, but how do you know he's going to be there?' "He'll be there he always is!" i shout out loud running faster.

'NO stop Annabelle no!' click screams and i come to a halt 'look there's someone there but its not who you were wanting to see, climb that tree so I can see better' i do as click says mostly because he's always right and i climb the big tree I'm stood near. It wasn't that hard to climb because i was used to climbing trees.The man stood near the lake didn't even look human, he had log claw-like fingers and he was all pale hunched over at the side of the lake he was talking to someone. 'errm Annabelle isn't that the man you were looking for? not the pale one the other dude with the funny looking suit?' i looked and saw that the strange pale man was stood in front of another man "YES! that's him i told you he would be here!" he wore a plain white top with his top 3 buttons undone he also had a red tie on and a black jacket, he had scruffy brown hair that went in every wich way and I'll admit he looked hot.I jumped down quietly and walked up behind the man in the suit and hugged him from behind wich made the pale man jump but all the man in the suit did is turn his head around and smile brightly like a kid who had just found his favorite lost toy "Hay bunny!" he said, turning himself around and hugging me back,"hey who is this ?" i asked and the weird man glared at me "i-im.....t....th..the..R.A.....Rake" 

'wow holly chilly toast what the?' click screamed im sure that if i could feel pain then i would of been in agony right now "well hello there mister RAKE I'm Annabelle but you can call me bell if you like" i smiled and stuck my hand out for him to shake "h...hi...b...be..bell" he said shaking my hand he had long nails and they were very sharp. "Any...way...... ill.. leave...... you ...t....two alone i ....need to g.......go." the rake said crawling away."ok,see you soon rake"           "bu -bye mister Rake it was nice meeting you"i said waving my hand goodbye to him before turning around to face the man in the suit."So...are you going to tell me this time?" i asked putting my hands on my hips. "tell you what exactly? i have nothing interesting to tell" he said sitting down by the lakeside. "oh come on! you promised that you would tell me your name this time!" i moaned sitting next to him tucking my head in between my knees "i said that?" he questioned looking at me with a smirk, i sighed and rolled my eyes "yes you did" he kind of looked sad "Fine, when you look that sad, i can't 'not' tell you. My name's Lucifer"                                   'holy crap balls!' "wow epic name." i said grinning and looking at him " WAIT, WHAT?!" he shouted, his face a little red "errm t-thanks" he stuttered "no prob i really like your name, its cool, but do you mind if i just call you lue?" i asked. "yeah that's fine" he said with a warm smile, i smiled back and grabbed my bag from beside me. "what are you doing?" he asked looking at my bag "getting something to eat, want some?"i offered pulling out my lunchbox, when he saw it he breathed in and his eyes went kind of blackish."what's in it?" he asked staring down at the small box as if he hasn't eaten anything in day's "errm well there's apple and orange pieces, and some raw liver." i relied opening the lid "wow you really haven't changed have you?" he said smirking."i guess not" i giggled pulling out a pice of liver and passing it to him "thanks" i pulled out another piece and took a bite out of it smothering blood all over by lips. "so how have you been?" i asked taking another bite of the liver."good i guess, what about you?" "I've been ok" i answered swallowing a piece of liver "well you should clean your mouth in the lake and head back its getting late and your parents will be worried" he said standing up and washing his hand's in the lake.

I stood up and instantly fell back down with a thud. "Annabelle, whats wrong, are you ok?" he asked rushing over to my side 'Annabell its you knee. show him your knee' "its fine i can't feel anything,  but i think its my knee." i assured rolling up my jeans on the right side."wow how did you do that? it looks really bad" my right knee was all swolen and broused there was a big cut on it and blood was pouring out there was som yellow stuff there aswell but i have no idea what that was"oh i fell over on my way home yesterday, its not that bad ill be fine." i was about to roll my jeans down when he stopped me "no its not fine! jeez Bell why didn't you tell me sooner!?" hetook my lunchbox and went to the river, once he had cleaned and filled my lunchbox with whater he then came back to me and poured some on my knee "im going to take you to the hospital now and i want you to get that looked at ok?!" he said taking off his tie and wrappingit aroud my knee "no don't do that youll get your tie all bloodie." i said and he smilled and tied the tie around my knee, and picked me up bridel style. "Now im atking you to the hospital but i cant come in with you ok so youll have to walk when we get there im sorry."
