"And it's rain for the rest of the week too, folks. Back to you, Gregg."

"Wow, I don't think this rain is ever going to stop, what about you Barbara?"

"Well, it hasn't stopped for the past three years."

I switched off the T.V. I was tired of hearing the depressing news, so instead I turned on my computer and logged on to Skype. Four of my friends were online. May, June, Damian, and Wkter. But Wkter isn't important. I started a group conversation with May, June, and Damian.

April: Hey guys. This rain is just depressing.

May: Dude, you say that like every day

April: Well it's TRUE!

Damian: It's obviously never gonna stop. Now let's talk about something more interesting, like Minecraft or My Little Pony. You know, the important things in life

June: Lolol, did you guys see the new episode of MLP?!

April: Duhhhh!!!!! Fluttershy is AWESOMEEEEE!!!!!

May: Rainbow Dash is BETTERRRRRRRR

Damian: STOP FIGHTING OVER USELESS CRAP.

June: ...

Damian: BECAUSE PINKIE PIE IS OBVIOUSLY THE BEST.

June: xD

April: So June, have you confessed your undying love to my brother yet?

June: LOLOL NO

May: WHY NOT

Damian: BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T SPEAK ENGLISH

June: NO HABLO ESPANOL

April: YOU SPELLED ESPAŇOL WRONG

June: THERE ISN'T AN Ň ON MY KEYBOARD.

May: THAT WAS IN ENGLISH

Damian: Nice translation of keyboard lol

April: GOOGLE TRANSLATE TELLS ME TECLADOR. And as a verb it says teclear. How the heck is keyboard a verb.

Damian: Keyboard is a verb? MY LIFE IS AMAZING. I AM THE NEW KING. EVERYONE BOW BEFORE ME.

April: *Bows before you*

April: I have to go guys, mom's making look after Liam while she runs to the store.

Lies. I only signed off because I needed to talk to Forest about our little "science project". We were planning on, well, long story short; we were planning to save the world. Last month we decided that the rain had gone on long enough. So we formed a plan to find the source of the rain. No normal cloud rains for this long. Also, the clouds are in the same places as they always are. Never moving, yet there's so much wind to be pushing them around.

I walked down the hall to Forest's room and opened the door to his room, only to find him staring intently at a picture of Rosie O'Donnell.

"Uhm... what are you doing?" I asked, looking at him curiosly.

"Hey April, come over here," Forest said, not breaking eye contact with the picture.

I moved closer, "What?"

"Do you think I look like Rosie O'Donnell?" He asked seriously.

I broke out laughing then replied sarcastically, "No, you're not sexy enough to look like Rosie O'Donnell."

He sat there for a few seconds then closed his laptop. "So what's up, sis?" He asked.

"I came to work on the science project," I said, "We really haven't gotten anywhere on it. Do you have any ideas for saving the world from this horrid rain?"

"Well, I do have one idea..."

"Tell me," I said impatiently.

"But I-" He tried to finish.

"Now."

"Alright, fine. Okay, so my idea is to investigate the clock tower. You know, the one over by the supermarket."

"What would be the point of that?" I asked, confused.

"The clock is meant to go off at noon, right? Well, I recently noticed that the clock had been getting progessively slower. I synced my watch with the tower just to be sure, and I was right. Every day, the clock goes off precisely 2 seconds later then the day before." Forest explained.

"How long has this been going on for?" I asked.

"Well, today it went off at 28 seconds after 12:00, so it started 2 weeks ago. Think, did anything happen exactly 2 weeks ago that's been going on since then?" He questioned.

I walked over to the calender on Forest's wall and flipped it back to February. "Two weeks ago was... the 29th of February," I started, "And also Michael's birthday."

"April?"

"Yea?"

"It's stalking time."
