Chapter 7- The Tell All

---Rachel's P.O.V.---

I woke up at 7:30 as usual. I knew I had to talk to Drew today somehow someway. I snuck out of my room to see if dad was awake or not. As I got to the living room I found him passed out on the couch. Yes! Now if I can just find my phone. I looked around and when I looked on the stand in the entryway I found his wallet, his phone and my phone. Score! This morning seems to be going pretty well so far. I grabbed my phone and headed up to my room. I put on a red baby tee, black skinnies with my black and white checkered stud belt, black and white checkered vans. I straightened my hair and pinned my bangs back before grabbing my black MCR hoodie, book bag and phone then I headed out the door. It was a 10 minutes bus ride and we pulled up at the school. As usual we had 20 minutes till class and me and Drew arrived at the same time and he looked hot as usual. He was wearing a purple DC t shirt with a black hoodie, jeans, black and purple DC's and his black beanie.We both ran up to each other "I'm sorry I-!" We both started to say at the same time and laughed "Please, let me go first" he said and I nodded "Fine but I need to apologize too" I said. "I'm sorry Rachel. I never should have yelled last night. I never should have looked in your file, that's your personal and private file and I was very wrong. I guess I just felt like I didn't know anything about your past and you wouldn't tell me so I guess I was just curious. I'm so sorry though, I need should have done any of that. You mean everything to me and I couldn't believe I treated you the way I did" he said hanging his head and I felt my eyes getting watery. "No, I'm sorry. I never should have gotten so upset with you. I'm sure if you're taking care of someone like you are me, you do have a right to know about me. There is a lot I haven't told you and I guess I was just scared to" I said "Why?" He asked "I don't know. I guess I just haven't really trusted anyone since Ryan and I was afraid to start. But I know now that you definitely aren't like him" I smiled "No and I never will be" he smiled. "I was worried you hated me" he said "What?! Drew, I'd never hate you. I thought I pushed you away though" I said and wrapped my arm around his waist "Good and never. You could never get rid of me that easy" he smiled and kissed my forehead "Good" I smiled. Just then the bell rang "Looks like we better go" he said "Yep" I replied. He grabbed my hand and we walked into class.

--- later after school---

Today was one of the days that I usually get on the bus to to home so I was walking out to the parking lot. "Nooo! Don't leeeaavvvee meeee!" Drew was acting like a baby and hanging on me "Oww, watch the arm and side" I said laughing at him "Oops sorry. No seriously though, I don't want you to leave" he said serious now "Well, I could just not take the bus" I smirked "Yeah but then when you get home you'll get in trouble again" he said "Well I could just wait to he's gone to go back. I'm sick of not being able to do anything. I'm just gonna do what I want and risk it. I get punished if I do what I'm told anyway" I said "Well, I don't know. It's up to you" Drew said "I'm coming with you" I smirked "Ok then, lets get this show on the road" he smiled and we got in his car. "So, did your dad give you your phone back?" He asked "Well he didn't even exactly say I could go to school. He was passed out and I found my phone next to his so I just grabbed it and came" I answered "Ohh. Ok my little rebel" he smirked "Shut up" I laughed and hit him with my good arm. "Where are we going?" I asked him "Wanna go get some ice cream?" He asked "Sure" I answered.

---Drew's P.O.V.---

We pulled up to Baskin Robbins and went in to order. I got two scoops of moose tracks and Rach got a scoop of cookies and cream and a scoop of bubble gum. I refused to let her pay and she tried to act all mad, it was cute. We sat at the table by the window "You are so weird" I laughed looking at her ice cream mixture "Why?" She laughed "Who eats bubble gum ice cream mixed with cookie ice cream?" I asked "Me. Gotta problem with it?" She teased "No, no. Just askin'" I laughed. We both finished our ice cream and got ready to leave. "Where to now?" She asked "You'll see" I smirked "Um...ok" she said confused. A few minutes later we pulled up at the trail at the park where I kissed her for the first time. I opened her door and we walked the trail back to the bench. The sun started setting over the creek and it was like a movie moment. "This place is beautiful. What made you start coming here?" Rachel asked. I sighed, I really do trust Rachel and maybe if she sees I trust her enough to tell her anything then she'll feel more comfortable telling me things. "I used to come hang out here when my parents would be fighting" I said "Oh. You never told me anything about your parents, are they still together?" she asked "No, they divorced when I was 13. I live with my dad and go stay with my mom in the summer, she lives in Texas" I answered "Oh, I'm sorry. Texas is a long way from California" she said "I know" I answered. We sat in silence for a while "You really wanna know why I won't take the pills?" she asked "Yes. You know you can tell me anything" I said and she sighed "I know. I guess I should start at the beginning, what started all this" she paused "When I was 13. Me, My mom, My dad and sister Elizabeth were going to the waterpark. Elizabeth was always their favorite one and on the way to the park a drunk driver crossed the line and my sister was killed in the accident. She was 15, ever since then this is what they've done. Things started getting really bad when I was 14. My dad and mom started beating each other not just me, so I found some of my moms pills. I took like 10 of them with some of my moms vodka and within 5 mins I saw nothing but black. They had to pump my stomach and just kept running fluids through me" she said. I was shocked, I mean I obviously got the pills part but she had a sister?. "What about the other incident when you were 15?" I asked nervously. She pushed all her bracelets up and held her arm out to me. That's when I saw all the scars from her obviously cutting herself. I kissed them "Never again Rachel. Never again" I whispered kissing her. "I haven't told anyone any of that. It actually felt good to get it out" she said "Well, I'm here anytime" I said "I know you are" She said and kissed me and then wrapped her hands in mine. "Rachel?" I said "Yeah?" she asked "I..I love you" I said nervously "I love you too Drew" she said and a huge smile grew across our faces. I truly loved this girl, I've never felt this way about anyone. I leaned into kiss her and she put her hand in my hair. I just admired her soft pink lips before finally kissing her and asking for entrance. She accepted and within minutes I was pushing her back on the bench and straddling her. She pulled away "What's wrong?" I asked her out of breath "No, that's taking it to far. I don't want to do that yet, I want to know you're in this for love not just to get laid" she teased "Well I think you know I'm not just in this to get laid I laughed "I know, I just don't want to do that yet. How about I promise you...on our one month anniversary?" she said with a smirk "Fine. On our one month anniversary, I'm holding you to that" I said kissing her one more time "Ok, I promise" she said sitting back up.

---A few hours later---

"I should probably get home, Dad should be gone now and Mom should be asleep" Rachel said "Ok" I said. I stood up and helped her up and we walked back to the car and headed to her house. Her dad's truck was gone so I pulled in the driveway and let her out. She got about halfway up the driveway "Hey Drew?" she said "Yeah?" I asked "I love you" she smiled "I love you too baby" I smiled back "Goodnight" she said "Goodnight" I replied. She went on in and I pulled away.
