Percy POV

After explaining all that happened to Ron, Harry, Ron and I headed upstairs for some much-needed rest.

"Why did you capture me in the bathroom?" I inquire while walking down the halls.  "Like, why there?  There are like, twenty million rooms in this place." Harry fiddles with his wand anxiously.

"Well, I was down there anyways.  Cedric told me-" I quickly cut him off.

"Cedic told you?" I ask.  I clench my fist.  I was still pretty ticked off at the son of Hecate, and I'm sure he was at me as well.  That's probably why he didn't tell me anything...

"Yeah.  He said to bring the egg in here, so I figured that while I was here I might as well just..." His voice trails off as guilt floods his features.

"Capture and tie me in a chair?" I finish.  "Seems convenient enough." I shift uncomfortably as I feel a pair of eyes studying me.  I turn to the left and see Ron staring at me.  "You know, it's rude to stare."

"Sorry.  I just can't believe that there are greek gods..." He says, staring blankly.  "It's all so weird..."

"Says the wizard." I state with a smirk.  I turn back to Harry.  "You know, the second task is tomorrow, and you kinda owe me.  So would you mind telling me what's going to happen?"

Harry laughs nervously and scratches his head.  "Well, I guess there's no harm in telling you now.  Basically, we have to rescue something from the black lake.  We have an hour to look."

"That's brutal." Ron says.  "Bloody hell guys, how're you going to stay underwater for that long?" I smirk.

"I think I'll manage." I say, stifling a laugh.

"I have no clue." Harry admits.  "I'll have to ask Hermione.  How are you going to do it Percy?"

"I have a few tricks up my sleeve." I say mysteriously. "Oh, and I can breathe underwater."

Harry looks taken aback, before throwing his hands up in the air.  "That's not fair!"

"Don't worry.  I'm sure you'll find a way." We stop in front off the Gryffindor portrait hole.  "Now I'm going to go to bed.  And, Harry, Ron, next time you have any questions for me, please, just ask." I say the password, and start to head upstairs before Harry grabs my arm.  I turn to him with raised eyebrows.  "Yes?"

Harry shuffles his feet.  "Well, I've been having these dreams..." I nod sympathetically.  "And, well... you're in them." I feel fear rise in my stomach, but quickly dismiss it.  "Well, more like I am you.  The other night, I had a dream where you were fighting these winged creatures.  There was  a girl too."

My face hardens. "I have no clue what you are talking about."

"But-"

"'Night, Harry." I leave the room.

"Stupid." He spat, kicking me in the abdomen.  I winced as I heard a few ribs crack.  "You're worthless." I cough, blood splattering out of my mouth and onto the cold stone.

Tartarus smoothed out his knife with his fingers, and carved it into my arm, creating a long, deep wound.  Blood pours down my arm, and I bite back a scream.

"What's the point of life anymore, Jackson?" He snarls, slashing a cut down my face.  I groan out in pain.  "No one cares about you.  Not even that stupid cousin of yours.  They're all using you." Another cut.  "Using your power for their own purposes."
