Richard III sat in Edward IV's chair at the head of the dining table all alone. When he finished his breakfast, he went to the throne room and waited for Miles Forest and John Dighton. When they arrived, Richard III started talking immediately. He told them about the princes in the tower and his plan for them. Little did Richard III know, Sir Robert Brackenbury, the head of the guard, was listening in behind a curtain. Sir Robert Brackenbury ran out of the throne room before he heard what time everything was going to happen. He wasn't quite sure what he was going to do with the information he had gotten.
Richard III sent Miles and John away minutes after Sir Robert Brackenbury left the room. He was very satisfied with himself all of his work done in two days the throne would be his by tomorrow. Miller and John waited till ten o'clock that night to begin working on their assignment. They changed into their guard uniforms that Richard III had given them and made their way to the prince's tower. When they finally made it up to the top of the tower it must have been close to eleven o'clock. John looked in through the keyhole and saw that the boys were asleep. Miller slowly started opening to door making sure there were no noise. When the door was opened enough for them to get in, they slowly crept through and made their way to the beds. The boys were sleeping peacefully like there wasn't a care in the world. Miller and John quickly grabbed the pillows from underneath their heads and put it over their head. The boys opened their eyes quickly and started screaming and kicking at the men with the pillows. All Miller and John did was push the pillow more into their head. After a while of swarming the boys finally relaxed. Just minutes later Richard III came running to the room.
