Is this the part where I should be laughing right now? Fiancé? Is this fucking true?

"I'm Ricardo Brien Maguire, and my wife Ellesandra Maguire." The older man gestured the woman in his side while looking at me.

I felt like I lost my voice. I couldn't barely utter a single word. I was too damn shocked after hearing what my father announced. As much as I wanted to leave this table, I still managed to pull out a grin and greet this people.

"I'm pleased to finally meet you... Mr. and Mrs. Maguire." I almost spit back my words. I wasn't even fucking informed about this. So how can I be pleased? I heard my father calling their attention so I stared at the food on my plate and started eating.

After a while, these people around me started to talk again about business as if it was the most normal thing that can be discussed ever. Naglaho na ang kaninang gulat na naramdaman ko at nanahimik na lang ako sa pwesto ko habang inis na sinusuntok ang sarili ko sa utak habang kumakain. Ngunit sa kabila nito ay parang walang lasa lamang itong dumadaan sa dila ko.

I remembered this two older couple in front of me now. I once saw Laxus family picture that's why they seemed familiar. He was still young that time and I didn't recognize his parents even this guy who was sitting right in front of me.

Laxus parents was obviously screaming... wealth. Mapuputi ang mga ito at kita ang pagiging maingat sa mga galaw. His father has this sharp icy-blue eyes like that guy—Arc, while his mom looks sophisticated and her eyes resembled Laxus. It was honey-brown in color.

Sinamaan ko ng tingin si Laxus ng makita itong nakatingin sa akin. He knew from the very start why I was ordered to go here. Napahigpit ang hawak ko sa kutsarang hawak ko. Gusto kong tumakbo palayo at takasan ito, but doing that means going against them. Maguire. Not just them but my father also.

I seriously wanted to punch myself for being dumb and being powerless over my father. I never knew anything. He didn't tell me and he even had everything planned. I gritted my teeth.

I swear, I'm coming back tomorrow morning in the Philippines. I'll fucking leave everything here and pretend this never happened. Even though I knew this was something I can never escape.

Napansin kong tapos na silang kumain at ako nalang ang nakaupo kaya't akong tumayo at pilit na ngumiti sa kanila.

"Why don't you walk with them?"

Napatingin ako sa ama kong nagsalita. He gave me a knowing look and I mentally cursed myself. I walked towards the grayish-blue eyed creature who almost captivated me. Almost.

Nauna ng naglakad ang mga magulang nito kasama ang ama ko. Kami nalang ang medyo nahuhuli. Hindi ko alam kung mabagal ba kong maglakad o sadyang malaki lang ang bahay namin.

"I haven't introduced myself properly." He said while looking at me and we stopped walking. He wasn't speaking in a flirty arrogant way nor in a cold rude way. It was just plain casual... for me. I think. His face mirrors nothing, like mine.
