"What the fuck is going on with you? Jongdae immediately questioned as they entered the apartment.

After saying their adieu's to the other's, the two boys walked in absolute silence to Jongdae's bachelor sized apartment. In all actuality the distance between the two destinations was just a few blocks, but it felt like an eternity to Baekhyun's perturbed nerves. The brown haired boy walking slightly ahead of Baekhyun the entire journey; giving him ample time to worry about every possible reasoning for the impromptu meeting. Once they reached inside the high-rise building to the assigned apartment, Jongdae didn't even properly close the door before boldly questioning the other boy.

Baekhyun was trying frantically to formulate a proper answer.. Firstly; not really knowing what he did to upset the boy, and secondly; trying not to lose another important person due to his lack of sense. Jongdae waited patiently inside the entryway for the other boy to answer, but Baekhyun only stood frozen in place; wide eyed and bumbling out 'Um's and 'ah's and other formidable sounds.

Realizing he was never going to get a solid answer from his friend this way Jongdae heaved out a sigh and kicked his shoes off; placing them neatly in the cupboard beside the door. Grabbing hold of Baekhyun's hand he led the shell-shocked boy into the tiny living area of the room. Jongdae Pushed on Baekhyun's thin shoulders lightly; plopping the silent boy down onto his suede couch and taking a seat next to him.

"Baek, you've been acting really off for the past like; three weeks. You told me you were absolutely fine but since that conversation you have been anything but.. I'm worried about you.. You know if you have any trouble whatsoever you can come to me, I'm supposed to be your best friend damnit..." Jongdae's dispirited voice began trailing off; as if the proclamation was more a saddened soliloquy than words of concern. He reached for Baekhyun's pale hand and began rubbing soothing circles into the back of his palm. Baekhyun's stomach dropped... Man; he had really been a shit friend..

All the while he had been sobbing over his little Chanyeol predicament, Jongdae had been truly concerned for Baekhyun's sake. His worry was adeptly hidden, that is until he voiced it in this moment.. That's why he was always keeping a close eye on the other; Baekhyun just thought Jongdae was an overly asserting friend.

"Chennie.. you are the greatest friend I could have ever asked for, and I truly appreciate you being concerned, but it's nothing to get worried over; trust me." Baekhyun reassured the other boy; placing his free hand over Jongdae's slightly trembling one. It looked like if he waited any longer to speak the brown haired boy would have placed himself in a downward spiral of depression. It made Baekhyun's heart ache knowing he was the sole reason his always happy comrade was looking like a boy who had lost his will. He sighed inwardly. Jongdae deserved an explanation..

"Chen... I.. I kissed a boy. I kissed a boy and I liked it, like I really REALLY enjoyed it.. But I'm not gay.. I can't be gay. I'm straight; damn it, I have a fiancé.. I shouldn't have done it but I couldn't help myself, my body and my mind don't cooperate very well with each other.." Baekhyun could feel his anxiety steadily creeping up throughout his confession. His chest began heaving with heavy breaths as his heart palpated at an alarming pace. A wide eyed Jongdae realized this as well and quickly brought the boy in for a tight embrace; rubbing his back for comfort.

"Baek, it's ok. Please calm down. You're not in the wrong, it's not wrong. You're going to be just fine.. That is if you don't give yourself a heart attack first." Jongdae cooed into Baekhyun's ear; trying to ease the stress. After staying in the brown haired boy's reassuring embrace long enough to regulate his breathing again; Baekhyun pulled away. Jongdae kept hold of the older boy's hand to let him know he was there to listen. After Baekhyun properly organized his thoughts, he continued confiding in the boy.
