I turned to look at him. My face full of questions. Softly touching my cheek.

"W...what did you do to me?"

His back was to me and he shock his head a little. "Niveah told me to..."

I was confused. "Whose Niveah" is all I thought but I couldnt find the words to form the question.

"The lady that couldn't do anything but smile in your face earlier...that's Niveah. Don't ask questions just know she has reasons for everything. You'll find out in due time" thats all he said before walking out. Scared to be alone I ran after him.

He stood in the hallway looking at all the doors and closed his eyes with a sigh. "You been thru enough today. Ill take you to eat then show you your room. We can finish the rest of this tomorrow."

He spoke quickly grabbed my hand and took me into the endless hallways. It wasn't long before we reached a door that said cafeteria.

The aroma spilling from it made my mouth water. I wanted to bust into the room and just stuff my face. Suddenly the thought of when was the last time I ate crossed my mind. With everything going on I seem to had forgotten that was important.

I looked at Jordan out of instinct. For some reason every time I think something he had a response so I thought he would have a answer to that. He just shrugged and opened the door.

Chatter filled my ears, like bees in a beehive, so many more people where here. I thought it was only a few of us. They were in different groups, talking, eating, and laughing. I couldn't help but smile. It felt genuine.

He took me up to a machine typed something in and a small chamber underneath opened. It was plate of food. He grabbed it, gave it to me and said "Go eat I'll be back later." Before I could register what he said and say don't go he was gone.

I felt panic slowly walking through the tables. I tried to find somewhere to sit but every opened spot I saw some jerk would put something there so I wouldn't take it.

I reached the back of the cafeteria after a while. I saw a small group of people with at least 2 seats left.

I walked up praying they wouldn't turn me away or I could at least snag a seat before they threw something in it.

Before I could speak a girl with bright green hair, eyes to match, and some type of bandaging wrapped around her arm smiled at me.

"Would you like to sit with us hun?" I noticed she had a accent. I couldn't pin point it though.

Her smile was bright and welcoming.
I returned it giggling "Yes please" sitting across from her next to another girl.

"Im layla but everyone calls me lime." She extended her unwrapped hand to me and we shock.

"Ashley! Im new here..." she giggled at my statement as if already knowing. "You had the new smell on you." The girl next to me spoke without looking at me.

Pushing her food around her plate with her fork. I looked at her. She seemed so much more simple. She had short black hair, milky white almost pale skin. Her hair covered face so I couldn't see her eyes or any other facial features for that matter.

"Rachel" she mumbled. I felt sad just looking at her. "Rayray for short," Layla added to lighten the mood.

Then rubbing the back of the person next to her. It was a boy. "And this mighty fine young man is Treyvon."

He smirked kissing her cheek. His hair was a fiery red but eyes a yellow with blue flacks. "I go by Trey and im also her boyfriend." He nodded to me still smirking.

I don't know why but I felt frightened. I hide it behind a smile and nodded at everyone.

"Hi it's nice to meet you all." I said trying to sound happy. Lime giggled. "So how you like it so far? I know it's always scary one your first day but its different for everyone." She made it seem like we were just teens in school and I was a transfer student. Im more then sure this was no where near that.

"Good actually!" Except for all the hell they put me through just great. I started to eat right after the lie left my lips.

I was starving as if I haven't seen food in years. In a matter of seconds my plate was clean.

Trey laughed at me. "You got a little something on your face mate." I had made a huge mess all over myself.

My face turned bright red as I looked at myself. I heard a loud sigh next to me when I looked up Jordan was standing over me. I didn't care about how he got there so fast I just felt embarrassed blushed and put my head down.

He looked at the group and said "You will see her later" as he grabbed my arm and dragged me out the cafe.
