Jordan took me to another building. This one was black on the outside with every different tattoo I seen so far on it in a array of different colors. It was like a huge piece of art work and I couldn't stop starring.
Jordan snapped his fingers in front of my face.
"Earth to Ash. Earth to Ash. Come in Ash." He taunted me snapping his fingers in my face. He smiled while he did it and I was shocked his face knew how to do that. I chuckled in response to him and the joke I kept to myself. Then I smiled at him.
At first he smiled back but then his face kinda went blank. Not in a scary way like usual. More of a "I don't know why im having fun right now" way. He then cleared his throat grabbed my wrist and we went in.
The building was much different from the main building. The hallway walls went from colors of black to gray to blue and even pink to white and etc. There were always two doors per wall.
Jordan said they were "classrooms". Each room had a different number on it as I suppose regular classrooms would. We got to a hall that was a midnight red. Kind of resembled blood to me.
Once again. The beautiful death symble was painted over the the ha lls walls.
I looked at him. "So...are you staying with me for this or is this one of the moments you disappear into thin air?"
He chuckled and leaned on the wall. "I dont know is it?" He said smirking with a hint of mockery.
I giggled and looked away for a second opening the door. I saw some other "students" sitting on the floor criss cross apple sauce but a bit weirder then how you would in elementary. It was more like in a karate studio how the students would sit while they watch and listen to their teacher.
I looked at where Jordan was and not to my surprise he was gone. For a guardian he is almost never there to guard me.
I couldn't help but smile. "ASH!" I heard someone whisper yell to me. When I looked there was lime smiling. She saved a spot for me.
I walked in trying to not to make a sound so the "teacher" (I guess) won't say anything. I sat next to her and she hugged me giggling in a whisper and i hugged her back smiling. She started to whisper me up to speed on what the teacher was teaching us and told me after word we would be going to the training course.
"Whats that?" I looked at her. "Its kind of like a maze where we show the skills we learned and made our selves on the field. Its really not hard at all we have the beginner level course." She responded
Sounded simple enough. "Layla come up and demonstrate some of the moves you learned this pass week." The lady that was once talking to the whole class stopped right in front of us. Arms crossed talking to lime. With a smile she got up unwrapping her arm.
There were tattoos covering it from the tips of her fingers to mid elbow. She took out her sword and they glowed a bright green and her eyes to match. They jumped off her skin and held swords of there own.
The teacher took out two guns. Purple with words written all over them. She also had tattoos like laylas but on both arms reaching up to her shoulders. Just like layla her tattoos detached from her. No weapons tho. They took their positions and all i could do was stare. No words leaving my lips. No worries someone will get hurt. No nothing. Just there.
"Begin!" The teacher yelled and if you blinked you would have missed it. The tattoos started to battle each other. As if it was full on war.
Every time one was hurt it would regenerate and fight back harder. The teacher shot fires at layla. Slowly walking towards her. Without breaking a sweat she repealed the bullets with her sword effortlessly approaching the teacher.
I guess she got tired of the guns cause she put them back in her gun holders and took out 2 medium size swords and they did up close combat.
Their weapons clashed with each other. Causing sparks to basically fly across the room. At one point layla made our teacher drop one of her weapons and it slide into the corner.
Half of her "tattoos" went to retrieve it but laylas tats weren't having it. I thought she was done for. Laylas face seemed sure of it. She smiled and thats when things went south.
She let her guard down for one second and before you knew it she was the one the floor and the teacher did some weird flip to her other weapon picked it up and came back at layla. Before she could even compose herself layla was pinned. And just like that laylas tattoos shrunk and went back on her arm just like the teachers.
"This is why you dont get cocky..." the teacher said getting up and helping up layla "you lose yourself and then the opponent gets the better hand." They bowed to each other and layla wrapped her arm as the teacher continued. "But other then that she did great so if you wanna be like her or any of my other star pupils you have to train hard. Now get ready for the maze."
Just like that everyone got up preparing. Layla came up to me.
"How'd i do?" She said in her accent."That was great...where did you learn it?" "Oh thats the simple stuff ill teach you everything you needa know." She smiled putting one arm over my shoulder and walking me to the maze.
