The Welcoming

Chap. 8

I was laying on something warm. It was breathing slowly. I looked up at it. It was dark and I couldn't see his face but he was sound asleep. I felt calm happy. With out a thought I kissed his lips softly. He woke smiling hugged me gently to his bare chest kissing me back. We giggled softly between kisses.

Then there was a loud crash from outside the door. A lady screamed. And we both scrambled up to see what it was. A sense of panic fell over us. I was scared as I reached to open the door knob.

All of a sudden I was being shacked. "GET UP ALREADY!" Kitty was yelling at me and I jumped up breathing heavy and holding my chest. It was just a dream.

"Girl what is going on with you. One min you were all peaceful then ur scrambling and stuff. Did you have a nightmare?" She sound genuinely concerned and sat next to me.

I shock my head and shrugged it off. I looked towards the clock it was 7:00pm. I looked out the window and it was dark. "We slept thru the day?"

She giggled. "Well duh we dont do anything during the day except missions if its called for."

I didn't even bother giving her the confused face she knew I was. I got up and got dressed. Black tights and a white tee.

As we headed down stairs she was telling me more about the agency. While going down the stairs I wasn't paying attention and I fell into a girl in front of me.

We landed on the floor. Well more like I fell on the floor and was her cushion.

"OH MY GOD WATCH WHERE THE FUCK YOUR GOING!" She yelled while getting up and dusting off. Her long pink hair gave her away immdeatly. I crawled back a lil trying to get myself together and get up.

"Hey she wasn't paying attention not like she did it on purpose." Kitty defended me helping me up.

When she looked up at me her face went from mad to amused. "Oh its the newbie!" She smirked walking up to me. She had on a crop top and jeans. Flaunting how amazing she looked to everyone in the room "Listen sweetie Jordan is mine! So don't you even think you can get your filthy little..."

Kitty stood between me and her arms crossed and looked pissed as hell. "Oh shut the hell up! He doesn't want you and never did! He never clamed you! You just chase after him like a dumb dog and he nice enough to throw you a bone every now and then." She grabbed my arm and we started walking outside. "Now if you excuse us we have more important things to do!"

I was just in shock about the whole thing and how fast it happened. I looked back at her as we were heading out. She was glaring holes in me. I don't know what I did.

When we got outside all I heard was a huge sigh of relief then heavy breathing and laughing. "I can't believed I just did that!" Kitty laughed as she spoke

I looked at her and giggled. "Whats the big deal with that anyway?"

She laughed as we walked. "Thats Princess. She is the queen bee here. The most beloved by the head mistress. Strongest assassin. Biggest kissup."

"Whats her problem with me?"

"Well jordan is your bodyguard until you become a class F and your ready to be put on the field and that takes a while. So he won't be able to really be around anyone else unless you're there. That means she has less time to flirt with him and he has more time fall for you." She said that and slowly a evil grin appeared on her face.

"....whattttt are you smiling for?" I softly pushed her so she would stop.

"Well one it was a grin not a smile and I have a plan to get her back for all the bad shit shes done and it includes you and Jordan."

"Me and who?!" I stopped walking and looked at her crazy.

"Yeah who?" A voice appeared from behind me and I already knew. I took a huge gulp and he chuckled.

"Omg haha see you later ash" she ran away leaving me. I wanted to trip her so fucking bad.

I turned around to face him. "Come on we gotta pick up where we left off." He grabbed my arm and took off. I wondered if this was gonna be a every day thing.
