We walked in and started to get set up. After thirty minutes the first customer walks in. In walks in the Barton family. I look at the kids that grew since I last saw them.
'Hello Barton family how are you this morning.' I asked as I walk to their table.
"Hello Sammy. We haven't seen each other in a while what you been up to?" Asked Mr. Barton.
'Oh I'm on break from tour two. Saved the President and in return got me a special uniform. And a new medal that I get to receive on Thursday. Also I finished getting my law, nursing, and teaching licenses. And almost finished with the rest of college courses. By the way I can help your kids on school if they need it.' I said. They congratulated me and made me do a 360 for the uniform. And took their orders.

It's now Thursday the day I go get a medal and formal uniform. That will be showing on television.
I met up on stage with the president wearing the new uniform that he designed.
"Hello Citizens of the United States of America. Last week after the last conference there was an attempt on my life. I gladly say that because of this special young soldier I'm alive today. So today I am honoring Sammy McStiles the medal of Freedom. Along with this medal she is receiving a new military uniform to show what she has risked not only my life but for those she saved on the battle field. Please help me congratulate Sammy McStiles." He said while handing both medal and formal uniform. I walked to the microphone to give a speech.
'Thank you. However I don't save lives for the medals or the publicity I do it so that families stick together. For those who fight in the war gave so much so they can come home. So that they can see their Husbands, Wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, sons, daughters, the whole family in general. They give their all even in times it seems hopeless. That's why I go out there during the war. I may be sixteen years old but I had things happen to me that I wish they didn't. However I use what I have to make sure those soldiers fighting for our country go home. I do not want to see bloodshed that could have been stopped. That is why I am out there. For those who pray pray for our soldiers and those that save them when injured. Tomorrow I will be back in Iraq for my third tour. In hope that this will be the last tour or war for a while. But if there is more you believe I will be out there protecting those that need it. So thank you for your support it helped in my time of need. Thank you.' I said cracking up at the end. The President gave me a hug and a pat on the back. The General got up and hugged me to.
"I'm so proud of you Sam. You have the attention of all kids out their wanting to be like you. You have adults taking care of their children better. You are helping others just by going back for your third tour. Saying you are not giving up on saving others. So they are marking goals and dreams similar to yours. Your changing America for the better." He whispered into my ears. I let a tear go down my cheek.
'Thank you' I whispered.
Charlie ran onto the stage being chased by the service and Sophie. I kneeled down marking him run to my arms. I kissed his head and ruffle his hair. The President walked up to us.
"Hello there who might you be?" He asked.
"I'm Charlie. This is my mom Sophia." Charlie said pointing to ma. I put him down and kissed ma's cheek.
'This sir is my adoptive family that I stay with. She helped me out and accepted me for who I am. I saved her from a robbery at her cafe. Now she's my ma and he's my brother.' I said with a smile tearing up a little.
The President kneeled in front of Charlie.
"Hello Charlie I'm the President. Want to meet my daughter?" He asked. He looked at me.
'It's ok Charlie I won't leave with out a goodbye.' I said.
He nodded his head. He called over a guard and told him to show Charlie to Rebecca.
He strode up and lifted his hand to ma.
"Hello you raised a nice young fella. And cared for the best young girl and soldier the country has. A pure of heart." He said shaking her hand.
"I know that's why I love them so much. Their family." She says. I walk over to them towering in height and gave them a hug. My watch beeped saying I need to leave for base with the general.
'I need to go ma. The war won't win itself.' I kissed her forehead and hugged her.
'Thank you sir. It's nice to meet you again.' I said saluting him. He saluted back. I walk back stage to see the kids talking.
I walk over to them and let a lone tear fall.
'Hey guys I got to go.' I said with my voice cracking.
I kneeled down to level. Charlie ran to me with a hug. "Promise you come back." He said.
'I promise now you need to promise you do good in school in both good and bad times.' I said with all seriousness.
"I promise." Charlie said. I looked to Rebecca.
'You too. You need to be good in school no matter what.' I said.
"I promise." She said.
'Good now can I get a group hug?' I asked.
I got to bodies hugging me tight.
'Alright I have to go be good. I don't want letters saying you are failing my promises.' I said.
I stood up and walked to the General that was just finishing putting my things in the back. He patted my back and got in the car. I followed and left to go back to Iraq not knowing what was going to happen.
