Facing the End

"I like.. you." he said. OH MY GOSHH!!! ASA BUTTERFIELD LIKES MEE????? I had the biggest smile on my face and got super excited. "MOM! Asa just told me that he likes me!!!" my mom looked back and said "awesome" like she didn't really care. "Really?" I texted Asa back. "Yeah, I know we just met but you have been a really good friend to me and I would like to get to know you better." he said. "Oh I know what you mean and same :)" I said. I wasn't even paying attention to my show anymore I was to focused on Asa. "maybe, we could hang out tomorrow after school and go get some Starbucks or something?" he asked. "Yeah! that's sounds great :)" I said. "Well I have to go watch my baby sister. I'll see you tomorrow" he said. I didn't text back. I didn't even know what to say. My mind was going all crazy. Asa likes me. I thought to myself over again.

Asa's POV:

I can't believe I just told Ashley that I liked her! it was the first day of meeting her and I already told her! I feel like she might think it's awkward talking to me or something! I'm so scared. what if she doesn't like me back?! ugh why would I tell her!!??

The next day at school Ashley couldn't wait until lunch. She was really hoping Asa would sit next to her. She walked up to the lunch line and stood there and waited until the line moved again. She heard someone say her name. she turned around to see and it was Asa walking into the cafeteria. He gave her a "safe my seat" look. She smiled and started walking in the line. She picked up a sandwich and water bottle and walked out of line. When she got to the table she saved a seat for Asa. One of the popular girls came up to her and said " ha, who are you saving that for?" "um.. Asa." she responded in a shy way. "Haha yeah right. Asa Butterfield wouldn't want to sit next to you, your a loser" right when the girl said that Asa was walking to the table and heard her. "What did you just say?" Asa Snapped at the popular girl. "Hey Asa" the girl said in a flirty way. "No, don't even start. what did you just say to Ashley?" Asa asked again. The girl didn't respond and walked away with her little crew. Asa sat down. "Thanks Asa" Ashley said. "Anytime, why did the girl call you a loser?" Asa asked in a sad voice. "she said that you wouldn't sit next to me cause I'm a loser." Ashley responded. "You're not a loser.. look, she's over there picking on more people too. She just thinks she's cool doing that, but she's really not." Ashley smiled.

Lunch was about over. "So we are hanging after school right?" Asa asked. "yeah totally" Ashley said. They both got up and walked to there classes.

Ashley's POV:

It felt like time went by so fast it was already last class and I got to see asa again. The teacher seemed in a bad mood today. Me and and Asa kept talking and she yelled at us. Thanks to her right when Asa was about to ask an important question, she yelled. I couldn't wait to get out of that class and start the weekend with Asa. When we heard the last bell ring we jumped out our seats and out the door. Asa ran the opposite way than me but I could hear him yell "See you at 5"

When I got on the bus I texted Asa to make sure he said 5. and he did. i asked what he wanted to ask me but he said he will ask me tonight. After that I told him I had to go to get ready and I'll just talk to him face to face. When I got home I did my assignment for the weekend and looked at the time and it was already 4. I had to get ready. I took a shower, curled my hair, put my makeup on and went to my closet and picked out a purple beanie, a white sweater, jeans and my black vans.

Asa's POV:

I want to ask Ashley to be my girlfriend tonight but I'm just so scared. What if she thinks it's to early and that we just met. what if she doesn't like me like that.

He finally stopped worrying and realized he had to get ready. He took a shower, spiked up his hair, went to his closet and picked out a red and navy plaid button up shirt, Jeans, and sneakers. After he was all done he sprayed some cologne and went to go pick Ashley up.
