Facing the End

Ashley's POV:

Asa and I finally finished Seventeen Again. I have to admit Zac Efron is very attractive in that movie. But not as attractive as Asa. Anyways, after the movie ended, Asa and I decided to go to bed. We got off the couch and I slowly helped him upstairs. We got by his door. "Night Asa!"

"Hey ash, do you mind sleeping in here with me..? just in case something happens?!" He asked sounding unsure of what I was going to say. I thought about it for a minute. "Yeah of course Ace!" He smiled.

We walked in his room and he got in bed. I went into the bathroom that was in his room and changed. All of my clothes were dirty. Damn it! now what do I do? I peek out the bathroom door with just my head popping out so Asa doesn't see me in my underwear and bra. "Hey asa, can I borrow some sweats and a tee?" I asked him. "Of course! let me get you some."

He slowly got out of his bed and carefully walked over to his drawer and came over to the bathroom and just threw the clothes in there. He picked out some gray sweats and his Liftlable tee. I put on the sweats. They almost fit perfectly. Asa and I are super skinny, Asa is just taller. I put on the tee and could smell his cologne. It smelt amazing. I brushed my hair and teeth and then went out there. He was already sleeping. I don't blame him though because you get absolutely no sleep in the hospital. I climbed in bed with him. I lay there just thinking about this whole crazy experience. I smile, just thinking about how he survived and how happy I am with him. I turned over to my side about to go to sleep and then I felt his arm wrap around me. He always made me feel so protected. I closed my eyes and was out in seconds.

~ morning ~

Asa's POV:

I woke up and didn't see Ashley. I was kinda freaking out but then I smelled something. Something good. Bacon and eggs. I went downstairs and saw Loxie, Morgan, my mom and Ashley. "Good morning love" my mom said coming over to me and kissed my forehead. "Good morning asaaa" Loxie said. I went over to her and messed up her hair and kissed her head. I walked over to Ash and gave you a kiss and hug. "Morning babe" I said. Morgan just smiled at me.

We all just sat around the table eating our delicious breakfast. No one was talking so everyone must have enjoyed it.

After breakfast me and Ash just sat on the couch and watched movies all day. It was really nice. The day went by so fast. We were ready to get to bed when I got a text from my buddy Aramis.

Aramis- dude where have you and Ashley been? Everybody is worried at school!!

I didn't even answer. I didn't feel like explaining it too him.

I turned to Ashley in my bed, gave her a kiss and fell asleep.

~ 2 weeks later ~

Ashley's POV:

Today is Asa and I's first day back to school. I could tell that he was nervous. He both got ready.

I threw on some jeans, a tee and a hot pink sweatshirt and my black vans.

Asa threw on his Pendleton Pocket crew from Liftlable, jeans and gray vans.

we brushed our teeth, went downstairs and grabbed a pop tart and walked out the door. Asa was allowed to drive now so he drove to school. When we arrived, we got out of the car and everyone was staring at him. Well his scar. I felt bad, but he isn't the type to get upset if people were staring at him. We walked into school and too our classes. We kissed each other goodbye and couldn't wait until lunch came.

Asa's POV:

It's so awkward being back at school. Everyone was asking me questions but to be honest, I didn't feel like answering them.

It's also weird not having Ashley around 24-7. I couldn't wait until lunch.

~ 2 hours later ~

Ashley's POV:

It's finally lunch! I walked into the cafeteria and saw Asa in line. I ran up to him and gave him a hug. We stood there in line and waited. All the sudden my friend Makenzie and Asa's friend Aramis gave up to us and gave us a hug. "OMG where have you been?" Makenzie asked.

"OMG did you guys hear about that crazy zombie apocalypse? it was so scary! I feel bad for everyone that died or almost died In it" Aramis said.

Me and Asa looked at each other. "You have no idea" Me and him answered at the same time. Aramis and Makenzie look at each other in confusion and just looked at Us. The line started moving and we didn't say anything about it after. Lunch went by pretty quick. And as soon as we knew it, The day was over.

Me and Asa drove home.

When we walked in the door his mom asked how our day went. We both said "weird" and just walked upstairs. We watched a movie, did our home work, ate dinner and then it was time to go to bed. We got in bed and I randomly asked asa something.

"Hey ace, how much do you love me?"

"You have no idea" He planted a kiss in my cheek and then we fell asleep.
