Ashley's POV:

I'm so glad this is our last night here. The nurses come in like every hour and wake us up because they are so noisy. I just think they should take a break and allow us to get some sleep.

After tossing and turning for a while I eventually fell asleep.

~ 3 hours later ~

Asa's POV:

I suddenly opened my eyes and look over to see if Ashley was still there. She was. I looked up at the old clock and it said 7am.. that night went by so fast. At least we get to go home soon.

~ 30 minutes later ~

The doctor walked in and told me that Ashley and I could go home. He gave me the discharge papers and left the room. I slowly tried to get myself out of bed and walked over to Ashley. I felt bad waking her up but I just had to, because I know that she wants to get out of this place almost as bad as I do.

I placed my hand on her shoulder. "Ashley, wake up, we can leave now." She slowly opened her eyes. "Finally" she whispered. The nurse came in and helped me change out of my gown into my own clothes.

I sat on the bed so she could take my IV out. She slowly took the needle out of my skin and I hissed in a little bit of pain. She gave be a piece of tissue to put on arm where the IV was. I took the tissue off after about 2 minutes and it started bleeding again. She gave me a bandaid to put on top of the tissue so we didn't have to wait until the bleeding stopped.

Finally transportation came to my hospital room. It was this tall, skinny guy. He looked kinda old. He had a wheel chair with him cause it was hard for me to walk.

He rolled me out of the room and down the freezing hospital hallways. Ashley was following us. The hospital looked kinda creepy. This hospital has been here since 1962, so it's old but still in business.

All of the sudden all the lights went off in the hospital. Ashley screamed. the old man tried to comfort us. We had no idea what was going on. We heard sirens outside the hospital. Ashley started crying. I saw something running down the hallway. 'No, this can't be, they were all dead I thought, not again.' I thought to myself. I saw a zombie. I looked the other way and saw another one. I looked in front of us and saw another one. They were everywhere I wheeled myself into this dark room before they could get us. A storage room Is what I guess you can call it. The transportation guy and Ashley followed. We were squeezed together in the room. Ashley took deep breaths and said "Asa, I love you"

"I love you too ash" I said

The guy just stood there.

Ashley's POV:

This is crazy! I thought all the zombies were gone. I thought all of this was over. We went Into this dark storage room and Asa and this transportation guy tried to make me feel a little better. We could hear sirens going off and all the chaos from outside this room and outside the hospital. It was the scariest thing.

~ 30 minutes of waiting ~

The sirens finally went off.

Someone came on the mic in the hospital and said "We did it! It's all over. you guys can come out now."

Me and Asa sighed in relief. so did the transportation dude. We slowly walked out of the room and saw bodies everywhere. It was so scary. Blood was everywhere, Heads detached from bodies. I told the guy that I would take Asa cause I wanted to get out of there fast. I grabbed the wheel chair and ran. We got out to the parking lot and there was a couple cabs. I asked a driver if he could drive us home since we didn't have a car. He agreed.

I helped Asa out of the wheel chair and to the car. We got in the back of the cab and I told him Asa's address. He looked back and smiled. "Hey, aren't you Asa Butterfield?" The cab driver asked. "Yeah, how'd you know?" Asa responded.

"My 2 daughters are huge Asanators, you're all they talk about." The cab driver said.

"Awh! that's sweet tell them I say hi" Asa said.

We finally reached Asa's house. I handed the guy $10 and looked at him and whispered "thank you" he smiled. I helped Asa out of the car and held his hand as we walked up to the door. We rang the door bell and Morgan came to the door holding Loxie. She smiled. We walked inside and Loxie hugged Asa tight. "Nice to have you back bro!" Morgan said. I helped Asa to the couch. His mom came in. "Hey Ace, how you feeling?"

"Pretty good, better then yesterday. The hospital was pretty scary today so I'm kinda shaky" He said.

"I understand but now it's all over" His mom said.

Asa smiled. His family left us alone for a while. "You wanna watch a movie?" I asked. "Sure" He responded.

I turned on "Seventeen Again" He just turned to me and smiled. I laid my head on his shoulder and he grabbed my hand. "I do not wanna be 17 again, that's for sure" he said. We just laughed.
