Facing the End

Ashley's POV:

OMG he is gonna ask me!!!! ahhh! i can't believe Asa is gonna ask me! HURRY UP ASA AND ASK ME!

Asa's POV:

I'm so nervous to ask! what if she says no.

"if you would do the honor and be my girlfriend? I know we just met, but I have a ton if feelings for you, and I just want to be with you. I can't wait any longer." Asa finished. "Yes! Of course Asa! I will!" Asa leaned in and kiss her. they both put their drinks down and just kissed. It was the perfect moment until Ashley got an notification on her phone. They stopped kissing. It was an alert.

"Please alert that Zombies are coming any time now. a couple minutes, hours, days. Someone spotted one a couple days ago.. please keep safe."

"What the hell?" Ashley asked out loud. "What is it babe?" "I just got an alert that zombies are coming..?! probably some scam. they have been saying that the world is gonna end for 2 years now. We are still alive."

"haha, what if we aren't alive.. what if we are zombies?" Asa said jokingly. "Just shut up and kiss me." Ashley said. Asa put his hands on Ashley's face while her arms were around his neck. Even though it was cold outside they didn't care.

They finally decided to leave. They got in Asa's car and drove off and headed to Ashley's house. It was dark outside. They had to go through twisty rodes. They got kinda scared at one point. Asa's bright lights were on. All of the sudden Ashley's yells "ASA!" "What!?! oh my god what?" he replies. "Did you just see that?" Ashley asks frightened. "see what..?" asa asks. "that thing!!" "what thing?" Asa asked again. "On the side of the rode. did you see it?" Ashley asks still scared. "I have no idea what your talking about" Asa says. "Asa, I'm not joking. I swear it was a Zombie." Ashley says. "you can't be serious?" Asa asked. "Well I am!" Ashley says.

Asa's POV:

what the heck is Ashley talking about? zombies? really? that alert was stupid. you don't even get alerts on your phone for a zombie apocalypse. that's all fake.

Ashley's POV:

I'm not going crazy I swear I saw a zombie. I didnt believe that alert at first. but I swear I saw one. Yeah, I've always loved the show "The Walking Dead" but I didn't think it was real!! maybe it is?

They arrived at Ashley's house. Asa walked Ashley to her door. "Ashley, you need a good sleep. Zombies are in your head now." "haha, maybe your right." Asa kissed Ashley's forehead. "Goodnight darling, I- I love you" Asa said. "I love you too" Ashley said.

Ashley ran in the house. "mom!? MOM?! I'm homee!" Ashley yelled. Her mom wasn't answering. Ashley was searching all around the house searching for her mom. No sight of her anywhere. She went on her back porch and the sight she saw was like nothing she's ever seen before. Laying there was her mom, covered in blood, her hand was detached from her body and teeth marks on her head. Ashley started screaming. She ran in the house and called 911 first and then Asa.
