Asa opened his eyes. His eyes weren't so blue anymore. They looked droopy and gray. He looked so pale. "Ashley." Asa said. "Help me". His voice was so raspy and soft. Ashley took out her phone and dialed 911. She didn't feel like telling them the whole story so she just said it was an emergency and that she was at the local park. Within seconds she heard loud sirens and saw men running up to Asa. The men had a stretcher they lifted Asa up on the stretcher and ran him to the ambulance. It was so scary seeing my boyfriend being put in an ambulance. "Can I come with you? I have to be with him." Ashley asked the man. "yes" the man said. Ashley jumped in the back of the ambulance with the man. Blood still gushing from Asa's face. His face was getting paler by the second. They put a bunch of big bandages on his face to stop the bleeding. They put an oxygen mask on him. Asa's eyes were closed. Ashley started crying. "will he be ok?" She asked the man. "Hopefully" the man said.
Asa's POV:
What's going on? I'm so confused! what happened? am I dead? I really hope not! I need to see Ashley! PLEASE SAVE ME!
When they arrived at the hospital the 2 men took Asa out from the ambulance, still on the stretcher, and ran him inside the hospital. They took him into a room. Ashley had to wait outside in the waiting room until she could see Asa again.
Ashley's POV:
After about 2 hours of waiting the doctor came out. "You may go in." he said then walked away. I walked in Asa's hospital room slowly. He was there laying on the bed, His face was still super pale from passing out. He looked kinda confused. He was in a white hospital gown, an IV in his arm, and he still had the oxygen mask on. His eyes were open they were back to their normal color. He wasn't dead! He turned his head to me and smiled. I sat down in a chair next to his bed. I put my arm on his bed and started crying. Asa slid his hand on top of mine and gripped on my hand tighter. He took off his oxygen mask. "It-it's gonna be ok" He said. "I love you Asa, please don't leave me." I responded in so much fear.
"I-I won't. No matter what I'll always be yours." He said sounding kinda tired and confused. I looked up at a heart monitor and his heart beat seemed to be normal. But I'm no nurse so I was just hoping that was the case. I looked around the room. It was kinda scary. So many machines and wires, A small Tv, and a table with tons of drawers, I guess filled with needles and bandages. The smell of alcohol nipped my nose.
I looked out the door window and saw a little boy across the hall. He looked miserable, His head was shaved and his face was super pale. I started to tear up. I looked at Asa again. You could see where the Zombie scratched him. It was a very deep scratch. I got chills just looking at it. All of the sudden I heard a loud beeping noise coming from one of the machines. "What's going on??" I thought to myself in fear. I looked back at Asa, his eyes were half way opened. "No, Asa please. Please stay alive! you can't leave me. Asa. I love you so much please don't leave me." I said to him. I got no response.
