Facing the End

They went to the nearest park. When they got there, they sat on a bench facing the water. Ashley put her head on Asa's shoulder like she always does and just watched the view. It was the perfect moment. Asa's long slender fingers locked with Ashley's short ones. They just sat there in silence loving every moment they had together until they heard a noise. Nothing like they've heard before. It sounded like a growl, but more intense. Ashley's heart dropped. Still sitting on the bench, Asa turned his head slightly so he could see what was he heading towards them. When he saw it he screamed and jumped up. Ashley looked and jumped.

They couldn't believe it. Heading towards them was a zombie. It got so close to Asa. It's clothes were dirty and ripped. it's eyes were white and lifeless. It had blood all over. It's teeth were nasty. It got even closer to Asa. Ashley started screaming. They tried to run away but a whole bunch of zombies were after Asa now. Asa made a fist and punched one. it didn't hurt the zombie. Ashley started screaming and crying some more. She didn't want to leave Asa but she had too. She ran and just didn't stop.

Asa was trying to hurt them by punching and kicking and choking them. Since they are already dead he couldn't kill them. It was too hard. Some of the Zombies went down when Asa hurt them. There was blood all over. Even on Asa's clothes. There were about 4 zombies left. Asa was so scared. He looked around to try to find Ashley. No sight of her. No sight of anyone. Just him and the 4 zombies. He punched another one, blood gushed out if it's mouth and it fell to the ground. He pulled another ones hair and she yelped and fell to the ground. 2 more left. He didn't know what to do since they looked the strongest.

Asa's POV:

what is going on here? I didn't even think zombies were real. Now they are trying to attack me. there are 2 more left and I'm freaking out. How will I hurt them when they are the strongest?

One zombie came up to Asa and scratched his face. Asa touched his face in shock. He looked down at his hands. Blood. They were covered in blood. Blood was running down Asa's face. He got super light headed. Before he fell to the ground to lose to the zombies Ashley came running up behind the two zombies and chopped off their heads with a knife she got from a near by store. Blood gushed everywhere. They fell to the ground. There were no more zombies. Asa was on the ground now. Ashley fell down to her knees and started crying and checking on Asa.

"Asa, please answer me!! it's me Ashley! I'm ok, asa.." She started crying some more.
