Facing the End

911- "911 what's your emergency?"

Ashley- "yes, I found my mom outside with blood all over and her arm his been cut off and there are teeth marks on her head!"

911- "ok? we will be right there what's your address?"

Ashley- "234 Oak rode"

911- "ok"

911 hung up. Ashley called Asa.

Ashley- "Babe, I'm freaking out, my mom is dead on the ground outside and there are teeth marks-" Asa cut her off. "I'll be right over there, love. don't worry!"

Ashley hung up the phone and started crying some more. She saw lights from her back

porch. She ran in the front yard and there were about 5 cop cars and 9 cops.

Ashley's POV:

this is the scariest thing. the cops were investigating my mom and there were so many dogs barking. And I just can't believe she died.

I heard Asa yell my name. I ran up to him he picked me up and hugged me tight. I put my head on his shoulder and cried. "Ashley it's gonna be ok" he said softly. "No it's not! I can't get ahold of my dad cause he's out if the country, my mom is dead, I have no one to go because my house is a crime scene now-" Asa cut me off again. "You can stay with me!" he said. "What about your parents? what will they say?" I asked. "They will understand, I love you" he whispered. "I love you too"

The cops came over to me to ask questions. "So were you here when this happened?" "no, I was on a date and came home to it." I said still crying. "Have you heard any rumor about this Zombie Apocalypse thing?" the cop asked. My heart stopped. I looked at Asa, his jaw dropped. "yeah... why?" Asa asked for me cause I was in shock. "We believe it's Zombies, I know it sounds crazy but that's what the teeth marks were from." I started crying. Asa started tearing up. "Well we have to go now, we will study your moms body and get back to you." I saw the cops take my moms body into an ambulance that came while they were busy investigating. They all pulled away. I hugged Asa. "I only have you now, don't leave me." I said with my raspy voice from crying so much. "Never." he said.

We drove to Asa's house. On the way there he called him mom to let her know that I was coming. When we got there, his mom ran outside and hugged me. "we will take good care of you, don't you worry!" We all walked inside and me and Asa walked upstairs. "I'm scared Asa, what if this Zombie thing is for real? what if they get us?" I asked, sounding kinda unsure. "Then, I'll kick some asses now won't i?" Asa laughed. He kissed my forehead. "Goodnight Ashley, I love you." "Night Asa, love you too." I said while walking into the room they are letting me stay in. All I could do was hope that something wouldn't happen through the night.
