Facing the End

Asa POV:

It's so hard to sleep in hospitals. The nurses are coming in nonstop to check and see if I was ok. The worst part was when they would come in to check my IVs. They would move them around while I was sleeping so I could feel the needle inside my skin moving but I didn't open my eyes cause I didn't feel like answering questions. When I heard the nurse close the door and turned my head to face Ashley laying there on what seems like the most uncomfortable thing ever. She so cute when she sleeps. I love her so much. I'm glad I met her. I don't know what I would do without her. Eventually I got super tired and went back to sleep.

~ 3 hours later ~

Ashley's POV:

Its 7am and he's not awake. He really is the most adorable thing ever. I feel bad cause in the middle of the night I would hear the nurses come in. He must feel so annoyed. All of the sudden I heard my name. "Ash!" I looked at Asa. He was staring at me with a smile on his face. I got up and walked over to him. I put my hand on top of his. "Hey, how you feeling?" I asked. "Um, good, better than last night." He responded. "Do you need anything?" I asked. "will you call the nurse in here so I can take medicine, my chest really hurts?" he asked. I clicked the nurse button on this remote he had. I asked the nurse for medicine and she came in and checked his vitals and left.

Asa took his pills and choked on them cause he took them at once. He gulped his water to help him get the pills down easier.

"is my mom visiting today?" Asa asked. "I'm not sure, probably not. she has to watch your sisters." I said.

"Well where's Morgan? can't he watch them?" he asked seeming kinda mad. "I'm not sure..just don't worry about it, you only have one more day here." He smiled. "I'm tired baby." he said. I kissed his forehead. "Get some sleep." I said and in seconds he was zonked. I went back and laid in the hard chair. I got out my phone and starting reading stories on Wattpad. I looked up at Asa once in a while just to check on him. I looked out the door window and across the hall. I saw the most horrible thing ever. My heart dropped and I started tearing up. 'No!?' I thought to myself. 'This can't be real!!'
