"Hey Raine, let's have a good time tonight." I knew that voice. I sighed and turned toward him. He was waiting for me outside of my fourth period class. The bell ending the day had just sounded not even two minutes ago.
"Get lost Tommy." I spat.
"Aw baby, don't be like that. You know you didn't act like this the other night."
"Are you referring to the party?"
"So you do remember. I knew you wouldn't forget."
"Nope. I didn't forget anything that happened between us at the party. I remember when you were standing against the wall with your two friends, drunk as always, and I told you to get lost just like I am now." I turned and started walking towards my locker.
"You know that's not true. You didn't turn me down." He took the chance and slipped his arm around me as he followed me down the hall.
"You know it is the truth. I wouldn't do anything with you. The whole world knows it." I slipped out of his arm and took the two steps left between me and my locker.
"Then why did I see you with him?" Came a familiar voice from behind her.
I spun around to locate the voice.
It couldn't be. He wouldn't! I thought.
It was.
Jensen was standing there with an annoying smirk on his face.
"I was only near him long enough to turn him down. Then I walked away. And you know what? I dont have to jusify myself to you."
"That's not what I remember." Jensen said.
"That's not what happened." Thomas said.
"That is what happened." I turned away from them and back towards my locker, put my books in and slammed the door shut.
"Where's Kami?" I asked Jensen without turning around to look at him.
"Biology Room, but don't leave yet, we want the truth."
"I already gave it to you." I turned and walked in the direction of the biology room.
I couldn't believe he had done that. I kept asking myself, why would he say I was with Tommy at the party, when I wasnt? He is my brother. Why would he do that to me?
I reached the Biology room and found Kami standing next to the teacher with a book in front of her.
"Kami let's go. We're gonna miss the bus." I said.
Kami glanced up with a look of guilt on her face.
"Oh no, what did he do?" She knew that there was only two reasons I ever tolerated the bus:
1) Jensen was absent from school or
2) He had pissed me off.
It was usually the second one as he rarely got sick. His shapeshifter blood prevented most human diseases.
"I'll tell you about it later. Let's just go okay?"
"Okay." She turned back to Mrs. Phillips, "Thank you so much. That really helped clear it up."
"You're welcome sweetie. The door is always open for you." She replied.
"You say that every time she comes here." I said annoyed.
Kami grabbed her things and we walked together towards the busses.
"So what did he do?" She asked half way there.
