Chapter 21

Calista's P.O.V.

"It's going down. I'm yelling timber! You better move. You better dance." I sing as I twirl around my room. I'm getting ready for my mom and Paul's wedding. I'm the maid of honor so I have a different dress. My blue dress spins and looks like waves. It's my favorite dress and means even more to me because my father, Poseidon, gave it to me. Stella did my makeup and it is blue and purple done to perfection. Annabeth and I went to a beach and made seashell earrings. I'm wearing Leo's bracelets. And I have blue four inch heels. As I'm spinning Percy walks into my room, "Woah there!"

I spin into his arms giggling.  "What are you doing here?"

"I live here?"

"No in my room."

"Oh. Mom told me to tell you that is almost time to go."

"Yay!"

"Are you drunk?" He asks looking into my eyes.

"No! Why would I be? I'm just happy! Unlike a certain Mr. Grumpy Pants!"

"Why do I have to be related to you?" He throws his hands up into the sky dramatically. I playfully punch his arm and he puts his arm out. We link arms and go out.

As we walk into the living room we hear our parents talking. "Here they come!" Paul and Percy's blue ties match my dress and my mom's shoes. I guess this is their way of saying my father is still here. Blues and purples are the theme colors. Because Percy is the best man I have to walk up with him. The bridesmaids and groomsmen are Piper and Jason, Stella and Frank, Hazel and Avira, Nico and Ryan, Leo and Annabeth. Another person involved is the girl who killed Octavian. She is walking up with her boyfriend Emmett.

Even though some people believe it's bad luck to see the bride in our family we believe that we can't have worse luck and if Sally and Paul have stayed together through the past year, they can survive a marriage together. Mom's dress is a gorgeous but flattering for an older woman and she has blue shoes on. Her makeup has been done by Stella, just as everyone else's has. Including Ryan. All of the girls that have their ears pierced wear seashell earrings. Excluding Ryan. Stella and Piper had all of the bridesmaids come to our house so they could do hair and makeup but then everyone had gone to the beach to set up the wedding. The guys wanted the least bit to do with this wedding but you could tell they were happy to be apart of it. "Shall we?" Paul holds out his arm for Mom. She takes it giggling.

All of us walk out to the car and peacefully drive to the beach.
