Tobias and I, sit there watching the ids in the simulation. So far, there are no divergents. Then Steven comes in. My daughter has ben friends with him for a while. Sometimes i wonder if there more then friends. Anyway, he walksin slowly, and unsure look on his face.

"Hi Steven" I say

"Hi" He says, not meating my eyes

"Ok, this serum is going to put you through a stimulation, which will make you face your worst fear." Tobias says. Steven doesnt say anything. When he goes through the stimulation, this is what happened:

He was in a cramped space. Hes afraid of cramped spaces? Huh. In about one minuite he gets up and punches the box. The next moment he is awake. That means hes Divergent. Thats just great.

"Your... Divergent" Tobias whispers

"Whats Divergent mean?" He asks, obviosly playing dumb.

"You know.." I say. and then i find myself hoping that my dqaughter isnt divergent. I dnt want her to die. The rest of the stimulations i dont pay attention to. Then my daughter comesin.

"Uh... Hi" She says.

"Hey" Tobias says, casually.

save the long boring talk. I know what the serum does." She says

"Be brave, Allison" I hear Tobias whisper. I sit quietly and watch her stimulation. She is stuck inside a tank, with rising water. Just like myfear. She breas the glass, and comes out of the stimulation in about less than a minuite. Then it hits me:

My own Daughter is Divergent. And Divergence is extremely dangerous.
