Tris

I sit in the cafeteria, eating a hamburger, with Christina.

"remember your first day here, when you didnt know what a hamburger was?" Christina asks. I laugh.

"Yeah" I say. "Now I eat them like, twice a week"

"Hows training going for Four going?" She asks. Why is she so curious about things like this?

"Great I guess" I respond.

"Any Divergents?" She asks. That shuts me up. Shes a former Candor, she knows when someone is lying. I decide not to tell her, because for all I know, my best friend could be a spy for Jeanie Matthews.

"Nope" I say, casually, "Not this year" She looks at me for a second, and I dont think she believes me, but doesnt say anything. I honestly dont get what the big deal about being a Divergent. It just means your different. I dont get it at all. We sit there in silent, until we finish eating.

"Hey Christina I-" I was interuptted by screaming. It sound like a fimiliar scream too. I get up without finishing my last piece of Dauntless Cake. This better be something important I think I really wanted to finish my cake. I hear more screaming and I start to run.
