The drive back home wasn't as awkward as you thought it would be.
The whole drive was filled with jokes and laughter.
When you pulled in, you realized this wasn't your neighborhood.
"We're here," Denis said, getting out and opening the door for you.
"It's a nice place..." you say staring in awe at the huge house.
Denis laughed, "No Kidding"
He knocked on the door and in a few minutes, a boy with brown hair and blue eyes answered the door.
"Denis! Buddy!" The boy said
You knew who he was, but you didn't mention that.
"Corky!" Denis replied, giving him a bro hug.
"Who's this?" Braden asked, shaking your hand and looking into your eyes.
Damn those blue eyes.
"Oh. I'm y/n." Pleasure to meet you,
"Pleasures all mine" Braden said, still looking at you.
Denis was giving him the stare of death.
"Come on in guys! Make yourself at home!" Braden said with a warm smile.
You all walked into a beautiful living room with candles and a huge chandelier hanging over your heads.
"Woah...nice job Corl." Denis said
"I know. Isn't it great?" Cool had a huge grin on his face.
You sat down next to Denis and Braden sat across.
"So what brings you here, Denis?" Cork asked
"Nothing really, just wanted to say hi." He replied.
You could almost feel Braden's eyes staring at you.
"So uh, y/n, tell me about yourself." Corl said
You said the same thing you said to Denis.
"Oh. So I'm guessing you and Denis are, like a thing, right?"
You blushed hard and Denis laughed a bit.
"No, corky, were not dating. " Denis said, also obviously red.
A small wave of relief washed over Braden.
"So, uh, I'm guessing you met her through YouTube?"
"No, we're neighbors." Denis said
"Cool. Cool,"
This conversation was getting boring.
Your phone buzzed with a text from Sophia.
Sophia: Wanna go get some new clothes for school tomorrow? School starts in a few days.
You: Sounds great. I'll pick you up abound 12:30?
Sophia: Perfect.
"So, Braden, are you going to Moon Valley too?" You ask, trying to make another conversation.
"Yeah! Are you?"
"We all are." You reply
"That will be really cool." Braden smiled and blushed a bit.
"Yeah. No kidding."

"Ahem"

Denis coughed a bit reminding everybody that he wasn't invisible.
"Well, we better get going, it's getting late. Uh.. it was great seeing you, Corky." Denis said and rose up out of his chair to bro hug Corl again.
"It was nice seeing you too, bud, drive safe and all that stuff." Corl replied and turned to you.
"As for you, it was awesome meeting you." He said with a melting smile.
"It was nice to meet you too," You smile back and shake his hand again.
               Talk about awkward.

Afterwards, everything was about the same as toast night. You Tube and popcorn for hours and falling asleep next to each other. Perfect.
But there was something different about this night, but not too different.
You felt wanted, and loved.
Since you moved around so much, you never had time to make any real friends. Here, you did. And you loved it. Hopefully You Can Stay Here Forever.
