I dont wanna go to school

Wednesday.
    You woke up in your bed with Denis on the opposite end.
    You groaned a bit. You didn't want to go to school at all.
   Denis woke up and smiled
  "What's wrong?" He asked, turning towards you.
  "I don't want to go to school...." you complain
  Denis thought for a bit
"Well we don't have any tests today..." his voice trailed off a bit
  "We don't have to go," Denis proposed
  You thought about it for a bit,
"Okay, but where are we going to go?"
"We'll figure something out." Denis smiled.
You smirked.
"Leggo"

Denis was the first to get out of bed and change his shirt. That body damn boi.
You went soon after and changed into this:

"You look great!" Denis laughed and hugged you
"Aw, you don't have to lie."
"I'm not lying!!" Denis whined,
"Come on blue boy, lets go"

You jogged downstairs pulling Denis by his hand
"Aww look at the cute couple, holding hands, have a good day at school guys!" Your mother exclaimed and waved to you
"Shut up mom!" You joked
Denis laughed and you dragged him into the car.
"IM driving today!" You laughed like a maniac
"Oh lord, god help us!" Denis pretended to pray
You gasped "y so meeen?!"
Denis laughed, "Okay, were going to the beach today." Denis said, beginning to give you directions
When you got there, you had the whole place to yourself.
"Woah, this is beautiful" you gasped
The sky was a brilliant blue with no clouds in sight and the streets were dead.
"It sure is..." Denis said, his voice getting a bit suspicious
"Denis what are you go- DENIS!" You screeched as he grabbed you and threw you over his shoulder, running for the water.
"Denis! Denis! No no no!" You were pleading and laughing at the same time
"Hahahahahahhahahahaha!!" Denis laughed like a maniac and plopped you into the water
You sat there, soaked, and staring at him laughing at you.
"If I'm going down, you're coming down with me!" You yanked his arm and he fell into the water while you escaped. Or tried to, kinda
He grabbed your waist and pulled you back into the water
"Noooooo! I was so close!" You whined

After you were completely soaked...

You trudged out of the water with Denis laughing your butts off
"Oh my god, I can't believe that crab bit you!" You laughed harder
Denis face palmed
"Hey, lets go to this really nice milkshake place, i heard it's great. And it's nearby, we can walk." Denis said, leading you onto the sidewalk
"Um. We're dropping wet." You informed him
"Who cares?!" Denis laughed

You walked into a cute 50's styled restaurant with cute waitresses in short skirts
"Hi there! My names Sarah and I'll be your server today! Um, table for two?" A blonde girl asked
"Yeah!" You said, following her to the back of the diner where she seated you
"So what can I gotcha?" She said, taking out her notepad
"Could I get a strawberry milkshake?" Denis said
"Chocolate milkshake," you said
"Coming right up!" The lady walked away
You and Denis had been having a great conversation until somebody interrupted you.
"Uh- excuse me" a young voice said
You snapped your head around, seeing a probably 8 year old boy.
Denis looked a bit confused. "Can I help you?"
The kid shoved a receipt and a pen into Denis hands, "um, could I get your signature?" The boy was really shy
You could see Denis heart melt.
He signed the paper quickly and drew a quick picture of Sir. MeawsALot
"Thank you!" The boy hugged Denis and ran back to his mother, then your milkshakes came.

"So." Denis began
"So?"
"How are you doing?" Denis asked
You raised an eyebrow "what?"
"I mean, with Jimmy and everything" Denis asked, looking down and playing with his fingers
"Oh. Um, I'm doing better, it's a working progress." You nodded your head and rubbed the back of your neck.
"That's good, I want you to know," Denis grabbed your hands
"I'm always going to be there for you, weather we're together or just friends, I promise you that." Denis finished, bringing your hands to his nose
You smiled, "And I'm going to be there for you too" You replied. "I promise."
Denis reached into his pocket and pulled out a silver ring.
You got worried for a seconds, then realized it wasn't a wedding ring.
"This, is a claddagh  ring." Denis played with it in his hand
"Okay?" You said
"Have you ever heard of them before?" Denis asked
"No?" You were confused.
"Well, its for couples. And they usually have matching ones," Denis said, dropping the ring and fiddling with his own claddagh ring on his ring finger,
"See, the heart?" He asked,
"Yeah?"
"Well, if you have it turned outwards, it means you're single, and if you turn it this way,"
Denis turned the ring so that the heart faced him "...it means your in love" Denis looked at you.
"It's a promise ring." Denis held the other ring up to you
"It's yours." He took your hand and slipped it on your finger
"Wow,  it's beautiful." You stared at it
Denis chuckled
"It was hard finding one that was almost as beautiful as the girl wearing it." Denis smiled, and you blushed.
"Now, I'm not promising anything yet, but someday, I am going to marry you," Denis kissed your hAnds
