Denis POV

   My heart pounded and I waited for the elevator to get to the 9th floor.
It was time.

Earlier that day, I got a call from Sub. He had told me he was coming into town.
When I asked him why, it took him awhile to reply.
"Denis, your Stepmom just went into labor."
I almost dropped my phone.
I can't Believe it! I had gone a full year and I didn't even realize how close the due date was!
I began to cry just a bit and I meaner my head against the elevator door.
I rushed over to the secretary.
"Uhh, Riley Kopotun...." I said, my voice was shaking
She directed me to a room and I walked in, seeing Sub, my brother, father, and my mother, in bed with a huge smile.
  The first to get up was my brother,  he burst into tears and hugged me really tight.
"3 years, buddy," he said, smiling.
"No calls? What's up with that?" I felt like I was going to cry too.
He didn't answer, he just kept hugging
Afterwards, my father came up and hugged me.
"Long time to see, son." He said
Finally, was my mother,
She was laying in a hospital bed with a pink blanket,
I walked over to her and she gave me a heart melting smile.
She held her out to me,
My newborn sister.
"Her name is Amira Kay Kopotun. She's got your eyes." She smiled.
I held the baby close to my heart and studied her. She did have my eyes.

The baby woke up and smiled at me, also let out a few laughs, which made my heart melt.
I can't even remember the last time I help a baby.
"Hi beautiful!" I smiled and laughed.
She gurgled and laughed, smacking her hands together,
My phone rang in my back pocket and I answered, seeing it was y/n.
"Denis where are you?" She sounded panicked,
"I'm at the hospital. Get down here, now there's somebody I want you to meet. ." I demanded.
"What? Why?" She asked.
"Just trust me."
"Well alright. But just so you know, Braden got kicked in the balls." She said really fast
"What?"
"Csnttalknow, gottagobye!" She said, hanging up the phone
"Did she just say Corl got kicked in the balls?" Sub asked
"I guess so,"

Your POV

I reached the hospital, a but nervous that something was wrong or someone got hurt.
I asked for Denis name and the secretary only recognized the last name, but led me to the room anyway.
When I opened the door, I saw Denis standing and rocking a baby in his arms, wow. He was great with kids, wait, kids...who was that kid?
Denis turned to me and gave the baby back to a nice looking lady and ran up to me, kissing my forehead.
"I'm so excited for you to meet....
Ms. Amira Kay Koperton," he finished, smiling at you,
Your jaw dropped. Was this his child? Was the woman in the bed his baby momma?!
Denis saw the puzzled look on your face.
"Oh my god, she's my sister, by baby sister." He reassured you.
The nice looking woman in the bed burst into laughter then stuck her hand out.
"I'm Denis stepmother, but you can call me Riley! You must be y/n, Denis talkes about you all the time." She said, smiling.
Denis looked down and blushed, pretending to be interested in his shoes.
You met the rest of his family and finally made it to his father.
He went straight for the hug and whispered in your ear
"I think I see a future daughter-in-law."
